I figured we would get votes, but it looks like a lot of the teams in the bottom of the Top 25 fell. Lot of mid-majors coming on late. We have played a pretty tough schedule this year. Seven of the teams on our slate are going to bowl games, and three are in the Top ten in the BCS Rankings. Last edited by Galaxy : 10-07-2008 at 01:42 AM. |

It looks like Ohio State's HB and BYU's QB are in the top five of the Heisman Trophy race.
EF27, any chance you would be able to play Tuesday evening/night (any time is good)? I'll be gone Wednesday and Thursday. Last edited by Galaxy : 10-07-2008 at 02:17 AM. |

I can't do tonight. Any chance you could do Friday evening?
Edit: Or Friday during the day? I'm considering taking a vacation day Friday as I've been craving a 3 day weekend for a few weeks.

If need be, we can push this week's deadline back a bit. I know someone (Macroguru?) is out of town until Friday.

Is anybody else getting "the dynasty servers are currently unavailable" when they try to log in?

Ok, I was already thinking about it, so this pushes me over the edge. I'm taking Friday off. I'll be available all day Friday after 9 AM or so. Just let me know a time. |

I was finally about to get in around 4:30 after trying all the live long day. Shitty that my close call against MSU cost me jumping up some ranking spots. Hopefuly whoever loses a game in the Conference Championship will give way to us getting a more prestigious bowl game.

I have no problem pushing the deadline back a day if that helps everyone hit it. It's usually good to have at least one weekend day in each week anyhow.

EF27 and I plan on getting our game in tomorrow. Does 2:30/1:30 in the afternoon work for you?
I believe, when I looked earlier in the week, Clemson defeated S. Carolina 49-30. Last edited by Galaxy : 10-09-2008 at 04:39 PM. |

Galaxy and I just had an incredibly tense game. We had a chance to put it away with about 5 minutes left in the 3rd when Rey Rey had a pick that he returned for a long way to get inside their 20. But Sanchez threw his 3rd pick of the day and it was returned for a long TD to make it 14-10. Entering the 4th, ND put together a time consuming drive that ate up almost the whole 4th quarter, but they ran out of time inside our 10 after 2 failed attempts to score the TD. We win 14-10.
Great game, Galaxy, although it was the most lag infested game I've played yet of 09. Of course, that hurt us both equally. |

Great game. I think our receivers dropped three passes on that last drive, including the last play (if he had held on to that, I think it was a TD and would of gave us the win). The lag killed me. I would hit a receiver, but it wouldn't throw, or my HB wouldn't juke. If you wonder why I paused it right at the start, my controlled kept dying (had to get new batteries). You managed to come out on those third and long passes with first downs. Some of them I didn't even know how it happened. Why does USC play at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena? Don't they play at the Coliseum? |

Yes, they play the Coliseum. Honestly, I didn't even notice the game wasn't at the Coliseum. The drops killed your team, but I do think Rey Rey and Mays had something to do with most of them

It was hard to tell due to the lag. I saw they dropped them, but I couldn't see if they just dropped them or if your defenders made that happen. |

Yeah, the lag made it tough to see what happened on some of those plays. Like I said, it was the worst I've ever seen, and it's not even close to anything in any of my other games. I couldn't tell how I completed a couple of those passes either

I still have to recruit, but I'll do that tonight. Is everyone else done recruiting? Some guys tend to leave the recruiting unfinished on purpose at times, but I'm never quite sure if they're really done or not.

Galaxy and MacroGuru haven't recruited yet, so I think we have to hold up the sim until we know their intentions.

I guess Indiana wants to be strong in the kicking game. They got the #1 punter, and they leapfrogged over me and UNC to get a lead on one of the top placekickers. NO FAIR!!!

I think there must have been a glitch or something. It is showing Galaxy with 10 hours left to recruit. I'm thinking he did it, but then it wasn't saved before he exited. (Maybe he lost connection with the servers?) In any case, I don't want to advance until he gets a chance to check it out and maybe redo his recruiting.
