Toronto has new duds for 1980.
A new decade, a newly resurgent team... it's time to freshen things up a bit!
The Toronto Osprey have spent the past few weeks in deep consultations with several Ontario design firms in an attempt to overhaul their image. After numerous iterations, the Osprey are proud to release their new uniforms. The monochrome styling of the old uniforms is carried over, but the blacks have been lightened to dark grey to keep things from feeling too heavy. A lighter patch on the chest and the cap echo the coloration of the wild osprey. A subtle font and a subdued logo, along with a few very modern touches, keep the overall appearance clean, graceful, and airy, but with the same understated sleek elegance that the team's namesake has. We look forward to wearing our new colors to great things in the coming decade.
