Fantasy Football Trade advice
Keeper auction League $200 Auction spending money minus your 1 keeper's salary which is 10% yr. 1, more than the previous year:
I have and would trade: RB Steve Slaton Sal: $1 RB Sammy Morris Sal: $5 QB Carson Palmer Sal: $25 FOR RB Marshawn Lynch Sal: $40 (Year 3 as a keeper next year so salary next year would be $52) RB Michael Turner Sal: $29 QB Ben Roethlesberger Sal: $12 Basically Im 4-3 and could make a push at the playoffs, I also still already have and start Steven Jackson as my other RB and he is finally performing. I also have Kyle orton who has suddenly become a viable starting option at QB. Slaton wouldve definitely been my one keeper next year at $2 and then I'd have $198 to bid with at the auction next season. The trading partner has given up on the season and is looking for a keeper for next year and he is in love with Slaton. He also has at QB, Jay Cutler whom he once mentioned a while ago as being willing to part with. We also have FA$ to use to make up for differences in trade values if a trade is close but you need something to push it over the top. Would you do this trade?

I'd argue on the one hand that perhaps I get a little better, maybe? But Now Im really good at RB AND I have a definite keeper next year....so what is the gain for me?

If you only get one keeper, I'd probably do this but I'd keep Turner and not Lynch.

Well, if the question is whether or not this'll help you get into the playoffs, I think the answer is yes. Lynch & Turner are almost certainly going to outperform Morris & Slaton, and Roethlisberger is obviously going to outperform Palmer.
And yeah, I'd keep Turner instead of Lynch, simply because of the dollar values involved. |

if you missed it or I wasnt clear my other RB is Steven Jackson so I start Jackson and one other one. Ill edit the above, please let me know if that changes your vote.

I'm wondering if you try to sell higher on Morris. In his first game since Maroney was put on IR, he ran for 138 yards on 16 carries before leaving with an (apparently) minor injury. Sure, that was against Denver, and his value after this year is probably limited, but he's going to be the clear starter for the Pats, and he's going to get red zone carries.

Mol:
What do you mean by "sell higher"? get Cutler instead of Ben?

No, I understood. However, basically I'm saying that the stable of Jackson-Turner-Lynch gives you more and better options than Jackson-Slaton-Morris and this is more likely to yield (with the rest of your team) a playoff spot. |

If this guy has given up on the season, then Morris is mostly just a throw in for him. I'd think he might have more value for a borderline playoff team desperate to make the playoffs and weak at RB, that might give you an upgrade at QB or WR. Just thinking out loud. |

one minor issue I have to think about is that one of my WR's is Roddy White of ATL so I'd have their offense but Turner is such a big play threat I'd think it's okay to have them both.
