EBFL 2009 Scheduling Thread
Edited as of post 26 Okay, this needs to be fixed but for now here is the schedule for the season as of right now. I took the dynsty into offline mode and copied down what everyone had. Notes: We will not schedule week 1 games, so if you have one, it'll need replacing. I'd like to avoid week 15 games too unless nessecary. No FCS teams. If you got them, replace them. I'm guessing I have the same two openings, so I'd like to match up with a couple guys in the other conferences as well.

Do we have any requirements as far as scheduling goes? Can we change our CPU scheduled games?

Oh I forgot some guys didn't start in EBFL ha, my B. You can switch your CPU games as long as it's not to FCS teams, obviously. Some weeks you may want a game vs a team that isn't available so you may want to list a few teams so you get one of the ones you want. Beyond that, whatever you choose. |

Since we are not going to have Week 1 games and I need to replace my Week 3 FCS game. How about move Arkansas vs. A&M to Week 3.

UNC is coming to Colorado week 3 and Colorado will head to NC the following year.
So I can go away week 4 if people are interested |

Can I change my week 1 game to week 6 or 13? If I can't keep Wyoming, pick some other relatively weak team.

Actually, I am going to playing NC week 2, and CSU week 3, so it won't be USF vs NC

I can't possibly just have one human game. Some thoughts (subject teams please voice your opinions):
- Pittsburgh: We play week 3 instead of me going I-AA and you going Tulane? I'd be willing to travel to you. - Kentucky: Come visit me week 2 instead of the easy win vs Temple? - (if other two don't work out) USF: same offer for week 2? |

Radii: any interest in a home/away series between A&M and NC State? We both has FCS games to replace in week 2.

Not this year. as much fun as it is to play the rest of you guys, I desparately want to get NC State up to a 4* school, which right now means getting wins and padding my record. |

I'd like to drop my game vs Missouri in week 13. For both Week 2 and Week 13, I want to play at home vs the worst team possible, something like: Central michigan Eastern Michigan Navy Florida Atlantic Florida International etc... |

BTW - I'm not schedule more humans than I already have because I want this XBOX situation of mine to work itself out before I start making other people more dependent on me than they have to be.

Deal and deal. So Oklahoma State hosts USF week 2, and we travel to Pittsburgh week 3. I better hope my QB situation is solved from the onset. |

Arkansas needs one more game for Week 9 so here's a list of possible opponents. Let me know if any of these would be available.
Arkansas State Central Michigan Western Michigan Eastern Michigan |

How about this:
Week 2 (at home): - Preference: LSU - Backup #1: TCU - Backup #2: Arizona State - Backup #3: Auburn Week 14 (away): - Preference: LSU (if not able to schedule them in Week 2) - Backup #1: remove the Illinois game and try scheduling LSU in Week 12 - Backup #2: Arizona State - Backup #3: Auburn |

I had to make minor alterations to the schedules. Not all the non conf. games are the same as above but I have most of them in place. The ones I couldn't get I subbed out for teams of the same conference.

Ugh, I didn't know this thread was going on. I thought we were going to do the re-schedule when it came up in the game. Sorry Logan, I would have been glad to play you again as a home game for you.
I also got screwed with Notre Dame and Wash State as out of conference games. Not good for me running an SEC schedule and residing at the bottom of the toughest conference in the game. Why are we not having week one and 15 games? Kentucky always plays Lousville for their opener, now it is buried late in my season. It's my fault for not checking the threads, but this sucks. Anyway, I'll stop venting now. Good luck everyone. |

Basically to make the season run as quickly as possible we moved games around. I had to do the same with Colorado State.
If it's any consolation, Wazzou is AWFUL in this game, much like in real life, and ND had like the 70th best recruiting class with like 15 1 or 2 star players. Neither is especially strong. |

No problems, hopefully I have gotten a little better. All in all it should be fun. At least I have a bunch of 4 stars that show me in their top ten.
