Michigan gets a soft verbal from 5* RB CJ Phillips, the 12th rated player in the Nation, and #3 RB. He visited for the ND game and came away impressed. Let's home he pulls the trigger soon though because the soft verbal doesn't mean jack till he says he's in for real.

We beat Western Kentucky 84-21 in a game where halfway through the 2nd quarter I put all my backup WR's in at DB just because it was getting ridiculous.
Backup QB Justin Feagin (Randall) was 10/11 for 197 and 2 TD in the air, and 144 yards on 10 carries and a TD on the ground. Minor had 3 rushing TD and 1 passing TD, Kevin Grady had 2 rushing TD as did Mike Shaw. Pretty boring game. |

Well, Foz, I hope we can play this season. I think you'd have more than a punchers chance against my depleted squad. Let me know when you're available. I have no life whatsoever, and I can make myself available (sadly) to suit your schedule.

Woohoo, this is the first time I've been ranked in either of the online dynasties I am in. I hate road games, but, Hawaii is only rated 67 OVR, 77 O/62 D.
I bring in the 2nd team on offense and defense after taking a 35-0 lead early in the 4th quarter. Hawaii is able to pound on my 2nd team defense a bit but its way too late to matter Georgia Tech 42 Hawaii 20 My two backs in the option combine for 250 yards on the ground and 3 TDs, while my QB adds another 33 yards and a touchdown. |

Haha..for some reason when I messaged you on XBL, I assumed you were playing your EBFL game. Now, I think you can win ten games in this league, too. You're a smart, solid player, and I think you can do well. I am just less sure of the idea of you winning 10 games in this league, because we are in the same conference .

Two problems that might prevent me from winning 10 in this league: 1) I don't have a 99 speed HB in this one 2) I have to play Clemson and UGA and am not fully confidant that I can run the table in my other 10 games Because of the ridiculous things the 99 SPD HB can do, I don't expect to lose to any CPU teams in EBFL |

I didn't know you have a 99 SPD running back with NCSU. All I can say is I'm glad I played you last season rather than this one.

After getting off to a slow start, we got down to business to knock off the Michigan State Spartans 34-14. With a lot of recruits visiting for this game, I'm hoping this rivalry win helps them sign with us.

I'll post the Top 25 later tonight. Any idea of when Macro will be back?

Penn State traveled just a short distance to play against their old rival Pittsburg today. Would the higher rated Pitt pull off the upset of the #9 ranked Nittany Lions? Or would QB David Smith light up another team for nearly 500 yards and 6 TD's like last week.
Well...neither. Smith threw for over 500 yards and 6 touchdowns this week. His final stat line was 511 yards, 6 TD's, and no interceptions. The final score was 58-25 with Pitt scoring a couple TD's in garbage time. Next week we have Kodos and his Hoosers coming into Happy Valley. Hmmm...

Hopefully the fake Hoosiers will fare better than the real-life Hoosiers will against PSU next week.

Part of me wants to be proud we kept it close.
The other part of me wants to go on a huge rant about the two kickoff returns for a TD. Good Game.

GG Foz. I nicked his BC Eagles 28-25 thanks to 2 kickoff return TD's. I played really lousy on offense, making weird mistakes like double tapping A to hike it, and then throwing it immediately at the A receiver, one time leading to an INT. Just frustrating. Thomas Davis is a JUCO guy I recruited last year, and he is just INSANE on KO returns. Foz, I was impressed with your passing attack. I found it hard to stop at times.

There was a couple plays I was lucky to make. You really adjusted well to my usual tactics (I throw a lot of comeback routes and short crossing routes, you started sitting on them), so I had to improvise. Ugh

USC crushed Arizona 48-10. Our defense played one of the best games I've ever had except for a 64 yard pass where I wiffed on a tackle that would have kept it a 5 yard gain. Sanchez was nearly perfect and had almost 400 yards and 4 total TD's (3 passing, 1 rushing.) Patterson (aka Robert Davis in the game) was brilliant with 7 catches for 166 yards as he burnt them deep twice. Vidal Hazelton (Justin Williams in game) was the reliable possession guy to counter him with 7 catches for 87 yards and 2 TD's.

Kodos,
What does your schedule look like for our game next week? I'll be home tonight, and more than likely all day thu/fri because I have laryngitis. Just as a reminder, I'm on the west coast.
