List in first post updatead. Added saldana and MattJones4Heisman.
On another note, I thought I was pretty good at bowling, but now I completely suck. Taking three weeks off completely messed up my game. Funny thing is that not playing for three weeks improved my baseball game. |

I recreated my mii in this online mii creator. It's not exactly the same as my wii mii, but it is very close.

i still dont have your Mii.... i actually never got any Mii's from anyone i this thread.. make sure you have your mii's set to travel, and then use the Wii Friend Icon in your Mii Plaza...drag and drop your mii into the circle on the envelope, and pick the recipient from your address book. |

Yeah I have mine set to travel. I never sent mine to anyone. They are supposed to mingle on their own. That's how I got yours and a couple of others. I also got some that were sent and they showed up right in the plaza rather than the parade. I will try sending mine to you again soon.

mine should have landed right in your plaza, since i actually sent it the way i mentioned above....if you just have them set to mingle, they show up on random people's parade, but not necessarily in your wii friends. |

Sorry, got to remember to not vanish so often.
Everyone above this post has been added to the main list. Random Wii thoughts... Finally got a second nunchuk today. Now I can beat up my wife in Wii Boxing. Anyone else get WiiPlay? I was disappointed. I didn't think it was even worth the $10 actual price when you consider you get a Wiimote with the game. |

Wii play stinks. But, it was the only way to get a second Wiimote in my area right now...

pbot added to list!
Tried two-player boxing this evening. I let my five-year-old son beat me up. My three-year-old daughter was my corner person, but she got so frustrated with my lack of effort that she jumped in and took my Wiimote away. |

I got a Wii yesterday. Now that you guys have had more time with the system, what are the best games for a 3-year-old and 6-year-old girl? How about for a 29-year-old married couple?
I guess I have to try and figure out how to get the Wii online at some point.

Our three-year-old daughter is hilarious to watch at Wii Sports boxing. She's up to almost 500 points now. She doesn't quite get the bowling release button move yet, and baseball, tennis, and golf are still a bit too tricky. I let her play Wii Play the other day, and she could do some of those games with my help. Our son just turned five, and he likes boxing, tennis, baseball (not so good), and bowling. I'd say that bowling and tennis are his favorites, and he's surprisingly decent at both of them. He got a 232 in bowling the other day. My son liked a couple of the Wii Play games as well. On the whole, our kids don't play electronic games often, however, so I'd bet other kids can likely do better. They've played Wii Sports about once a week since we got the console in December. |

Got my Wii on Sunday morning. Got Wiiplay and a second nunchuk too so my wife can play as well.
Wiiplay is pretty bleh, only 3 games that we found much fun, Duck Hunt (or whatever it's called in this), Laser Hockey and Cow Driving. My wife kills me in the shooting game. On the sports side, the only game I'm really not into is the boxing. Very difficult to control your punches. Beat the hell out of my wife, but she was getting frustrated by the lack of control. Bowling is probably our favorite to play together as we're pretty comparable skillwise. Now if I could just get my corgi to calm down while we're playing. Very hard to bowl with a dog underfoot.

A couple of inadvertent wiimote whacks to the head got our sheepdog out of our business real quick. My wife felt terrible, but after the second one the dog now watches patiently at a comfortable distance from the bowling action. Of course, with a corgi you may need replace "inadvertent" with "deliberate", but I'm guessing the end-result will be similar.

whenever we are playing and my basset hound is around, we refer to her as the "nemisis of wii"....she has never gotten clocked in the head, but she always walks in front of people when they are trying to bowl and screws up their delivery. |

I've learned to stiffen my front leg in anticipation of it hitting the dog or the dog hitting it. She's been whacked a couple of times, but no sign of deterence yet.

Just recently added more folks early this morning.
So far, I've added KWhit, TRO, pbot as new entries on my Wii. Oddly enough, Fidatelo is the only one out of my list who's still grayed out - barring the 3 above whom I've just added. I don't think I've got a Mii from MattJones (tried looking through my list of Miis for a resemblance of the Mii posted earlier in this thread) or Sirfozzie or Godzilla Blitz, but I did associate SackAttack, spleen, and saldana's Miis to their entries in my address book.

Eh, if nothing else, posting the directions here mean that the NEXT time somebody digs up the thread, they should theoretically be able to find the directions straight away. Might not do YOU any good, but three months from now, somebody else might get some use out of it! |
