Is this a good reason to leave work early?
Obama's town meeting is right down the street from where I work (the Orange County fairgrounds). I would imagine it's going to screw up traffic royally. Is that a legit reason to leave work early?

Is there ever a non-legit reason to leave work early?

It is a much better reason than mine for leaving work early today: I need a haircut and then want to go biking since the weather might actually almost be 60 today!

It probably is, but does it hinder your chance of leaving early to watch the NCAA Tournament? If so, it might be worth putting up with.

I'd stay at work just on the chance of Obama sticking his head out the window as he rolls by and shouts HEYBRAD!!!

There's a joke somewhere in here about getting home early, my wife and a stimulus package but I can't for the life of me put it together.
