Finally a trade that worked out in my favor! Coture had one solid season as a Rebel before the wheels fell off in the last year of his contract and he essentially became a replacement level guy. Bush was a good bench player for me the three seasons he was in Chico. He's a switch hitter, got on base (>.350 OBP each year), and had good success stealing bases. Martinez has been the real gem though. A flukey .354 BABIP held him back his first year as a Rebel, but he has been dominant since then. The past two seasons he has posted ERAs of 2.90 and 1.93 respectively.

Brouillete turned out to be a bust in Baltimore. He has been relegated to a bench role and has basically developed into a replacement level infielder. Sabean posted a solid season for Baltimore in his major league debut, but he has since been traded back to Chico. I guess in some way it's a good thing muns traded for Sabean because it helped him get Romero this past offseason, but overrall the Charm did not get much production from this trade.

I'm going to go ahead and end on a positive note. At least one out of my first three trades turned out to be decent right!?
