Heroes of Newerth beta keys

If you liked DOTA, the peeps at S2 games are giving out beta keys for the HoN game.

Roughly around 60,000 keys left. Not sure how long it'll last.

Essentially the people who made DoTA wanted to build the game around a new and better engine, since Warcraft 3 is pretty old.

There's also another game coming out which is in the same vein, League of Legends.

Fun stuff, I am completely terrible. There are so many choices that it takes a while to get a handle on builds. I usually end up with 1 kill and 12 deaths, but have been lucky enough to get on good teams and have went 8-2 in matches.

If anyone else is in the beta, my username is zapartan. Add me and we can do some 1v1 to practive or something.

I got a beta key, but haven't tried it yet. Just renewed World of Warcraft, so that's taking up my time. Eventually I'll play this though.

There is also another upcoming Dota clone called League of Legends. I think people like HoN better though. I may try this LoL out, but have my hands full with HoN as it is. You may still be able to get in it's beta.

My nick on the beta is DanKD. It's been a lot of fun so far, though I was getting killed in my first 10-15 games. I'm doing ok now, and my kill to death ratio went from 0.2:1 to 0.5:1. As poor as I have been in some, I seem to always end up on a team with 1 or 2 even worse players, so my record is 9-19 so far.

Great day today, I went 8-3 today, so my record is now 17-24 overall. I am definitely better with some heroes than others.
