My Dog Has Lost His Mind
He's furiously scratching my comforter, spinning wildly, and stopping every so often to bark and growl at me. He then takes off out of my bedroom and returns to start whole thing over. It's quite entertaining.

My dog does that occasionally. Not that specific chain of events, but the whole "losing his mind" thing. He'll start tearing back and forth between the office and the backdoor, and if he runs into a human he does this weird 180-degree hop/pounce thing.

Maybe your dog saw that mini-wagon zip by the room?

My dogs never did anything like that (lost their minds). But my friend's cat goes absolutly crazy at times. Suddenly, without warning, he'll just start running all over the place, attacking random stuff. You yell at it, looks at you with a psychotic look and takes off.
My other firend's dog sometimes goes nuts too, but usually you have to provoke it a little. (It's a pomeranian). Get it going and it starts running around in circles and doesn't stop until you cut him off or get his attention. |

My dog does that. He does it after he gets a bath/shower too. He'll go running full-blast throughout the house a few times.

Yeah, he does the same thing after a bath. He then goes hiding under the bed for a couple hours and will growl at anything that comes near him. I'll also get him going by saying "who's there?" really loud. He'll get on top of the couch to look out the window while growling and barking real loud. He then looks back to me for approval.

My younger cat does that. At times he'll just flip out and just start tearing across the apartment, jumping on any piece of furniture that he can along the way...

Our puppy does that, just tearing it up all over the house or yard, for no real reason. It's a lot of fun at first, although it usually ends badly because she gets so excited that she'll nip at one of us and then we have to yell and punish.

LOL! I thought my dog was the only dog who lost his mind for 5-6 laps around the house at times. It's funny when he gets going on the lanoliem, his feet are going faster than he can get traction so his ass gets tucked under his body.

I have a friend whose cat somehow got a plastic grocery bag caught around his neck. I guess that was a sight to behold. Imagine a panicked cat trying to get away from that...

I just got busted having a "chariot race" in the house with our dogs. My wife is pissed.
Me and the kids decided to have some fun while wife was away. We have two dogs, Niko an Australian Cattle Dog and pitbull named Comet. Got some rope, couple of office chairs and created a course in the house. Our house is all hardwood and tile floors so it's a perfect setup. Tied ropes to the dogs and then jump in the office chairs. Holding the ropes we set the dogs loose and they pull us around the house. We take turns doing this and time the runs to see who the winner is. During my final run Niko was really going all out and when I came to the turn in the course my wife walked in the front door. He was happy to see her and pulled me off course.. right into one of her plants. I destroyed it.

Don't ask. My mom does it. I think she just uses the shower to rinse him off (after rinsing the shampoo off with a cup by hand). |

Perhaps he's worried about what you're going to do with all those pine cones.

Your dog hasn't lost his mind - he's just communicating with aliens.
(if it helps my wifes mutt has just chewed a great hole in my favourite sofa, your dog is sane in comparison to this one, trust me ..... ) |
