FYI--Henderson and Robert Meachem fill the same role on the Saints offense (speed guy). Look at the week one box score. If Meachem has a lot of plays/targets in comparison to Henderson, then trade Henderson while you can. I think that one of those two guys will have an Az-Hakim in 99 type year. I am just not sure which one. |

Well it will open up a roster spot for me as I'm sending 4 and getting 3. Ginn and Graham I got REAL late in the draft. Bowe I got late (6th or 7th round) and with Cassell out and their offense sucking major donkey balls I'm happy to get value for him when I can. Yah, I'll watch with Henderson but I plan on starting Megatron with Hixon at WR and now Forte, Addai, Thomas Jones at RB week one. |

Just had our draft today... 14 team keeper league (keepers only based on 'salary').
PPC & for 1st downs, have to start QB, 1 RB and 5 receivers, or 2 RB & 4 receivers, at least one of which has to be a TE. Plus one IDP per position group QB Philip Rivers, Trent Edwards (k) RB Ryan Grant (k), Chris Johnson (k), Joespeh Addai WR Anquan Boldin (k), Wes Welker (k), Eddie Royal (k), Percy Harvin TE Jason Witten K Rob Bironas DL Justin Smith, Chris Long LB Karlos Dansby, Lofa Tatupu DB Adrian Wilson, Nate Clements Flyer picks RB Brandon Marshall (to back up Grant), Jerome Harrison WR Earl Bennett, Austin Collie, Laurent Robinson The league heavily favours QBs, and WR/RB are roughly equal, perhaps with a slight bias towards WR. I'm pretty happy with it - solid in most areas I think without being spectacular in any. Theory behind an all NFC West defence is that they all get to play each other (!), and the rest of that division's schedule allows them to make plays...

12 team PPR league I chose 11th, I usually wait a LONG time on QB's and it seemed to work out well until allovasudden a backup QB run started and I had yet to grab my starter... ugh anyways here is my squad
You start: QB, RB, RB, FLEX, WR, WR, TE, Def, K QB: Matt Cassell, Kyle Orton RB: Steve Slaton, Brian Westbrook, Marshawn Lynch, Ahmad Bradshaw, Earnest Graham, Jamaal Charles WR: Terrell Owens, Brandon Marshall, Hines Ward, Jericho Cotchery, Earl Bennett TE: Zach Miller, Visanthe Shiancoe D: Jets K: WAIVER (we have 3 slots at the end of the bench undrafted) MY HOPES are that I am able to trade my RB depth and one of my marginal QB's for a dependable starting QB |

12 team league, standard scoring (I think) with 0.25 points per rush
Positions: QB RB RB WR WR TE Flex (QB/RB/WR) K DE QB - Drew Brees, Jason Campbell RB - Brandon Jacobs, Marshawn Lynch, Tim Hightower, Laurence Maroney WR - Roddy White, Hines Ward, Ted Ginn Jr, Kenny Britt TE - Chris Cooley, Anthony Fasano K - John Carney D - Miami I don't know how I feel about my team this year. I got my usual A-list QB in the first round as per my usual draft strategy, but I also feel like I have really terrible depth, especially at QB and that my WR situation is just ugly. What do yu guys think?

Two leagues, two teams:
League 1 (4-pt TD passes, the rest is pretty standard. Defense shutouts are really big. Start QB, 2RB, 2WR, TE, K, DEF/ST... 12-team league, I was 3rd last year): QB: T. Romo, E. Manning RB: Chris Johnson (Keeper), P. Thomas, L. White, T. Hightower WR: R. Wayne (Keeper), S. Moss, S. Breaston, T. Ginn, P. Harvin TE: G. Olsen K: N.Rackers DEF/ST: Jets League 2 (6-pt TD passes, rest is standard. Start QB, 2RB, 2WR, K, DEF/ST... 14-team league, I was 2nd last year): QB: P. Rivers, C. Palmer (although after the draft I had a verbal agreement to trade for A. Rodgers one-for-one. I wanted Rodgers more and he wanted Rivers more). RB: D. Williams, D. Ward, L. White, J. Stewart WR: D. Bowe, M. Colston, A. Gonzalez K: Gostkowski DEF: Jets I feel alright about both teams overall, but not fascinated by either. I think I have decent depth on the second team though. |

My 8- team league, more traditional setup: I always try to get into a 20 team league every year, just for the amount of teams. You have to be real smart about what you pick when in a league like that.. This league will be a more evenly matched one, as depth in an 8 team league isn't an issue.
This one starts the following: 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, RB/WR, TE, K, Def 10 yards per point for RB/WR/TE 25 yards per point for QB 4 points for passing TDs, all others worth 6, traditional scoring otherwise. QB: A. Rodgers / M. Sanchez RB: B. Jacobs / R. Brown / C. Benson / L. Washington / D. Sproles WR: R. Moss / C. Ochocinco / S. Holmes / S. Breaston TE: G. Olsen / D. Keller K: J. Elam DEF: Baltimore I think this is a very strong team, with consistency at WR being my biggest concern. I think Jacobs and Benson are very underrated (Took Jacobs at number 2, which raised some brows) And having 3 sure-fire starters at RB plus a couple rush/receive guys in Washington and Sproles gives us flexibility and the ability to play matchups. Sanchez is a slight question mark at QB, but he should be solid enough to keep us in the game he will have to start for us.

Here's the team I just finished drafting in my office league. The draft usually take 2-3 weeks because we do it over email.
1.10 - Larry Fitzgerald 2.1 - Calvin Johnson 3.10 - Ronnie Brown 4.1 - Pierre Thomas 5.10 - Jason Witten 6.1 - Aaron Rodgers 7.10 - Lance Moore 8.1 - Beannie Wells 9.10 - Donald Driver 10.1 - Julius Jones 11.10 - Donnie Avery 12.1 - Chester Taylor 13.10 - Matt Schaub 14.1 - Leon Washington 15.10 - Patriots Defense 16.1 - Mason Crosby The surprises to me were Rodgers and Schaub falling to me where they did. Pierre Thomas got hurt a couple of days after I picked him. What a bummer.

The team I drafted last night....
1.1 - Adrian Peterson 2.10 - Brandon Jacobs 3.1 - Drew Brees 4.10 - Roy Williams 5.1 - Vincent Jackson 6.10 - Willie Parker 7.1 - Brandon Marshall 8.10 - Beannie Wells 9.1 - Lance Moore 10.10 - Chester Taylor 11.1 - Chris Henry 12.10 - James Davis 13.1 - David Garrard 14.10 - Jets Defense 15.1 - Mason Crosby 16.10 - Jeremy Shockey There was an initial run on TEs starting at 4.4. The first 4 TEs were taken and I figured Williams and Jackson were better than the TEs that were left. By 6.10, there was another run on them and I was the only team without a TE. So, decided to just wait until there weren't any other players I wanted before a TE. Then folks started picking backup TEs and Shockey was the only some what decent option left.
