Unable to open game

Posting this for a guy in my league to see if I can find an answer for him: Thanks in advance...

I have Vista and have not mastered batch files. I open FoF and select a team from there. I cannot open the game now, it says "General Manager Records database has been corrupted".

It happened to me once and I had to reinstall the game. Has this happened to anyone else? any suggestions?

Can try rightclicking the shortcut and "run as administrator" which seems to fix random issues sometimes, also turning off Vista's User Account Control alleviates a lot of hassles (some people are religious about keeping it on because the concept is executed really well in other operating systems or something, but don't listen to those people).

But I doubt either of those things will help you, this sounds like you need a reinstall.

There is a thread here with a good deal of help on using FOF in Vista.

Even better - it's the first link in the reference thread:
