Anyone else been watching this? I've found it pretty amusing and a show I look forward to watching, now.

So this thread isn't about the Raider's game earlier?

Yeah, the show is pretty good. I read the program description and I'm glad the main character is back on the case this week, last week's episode wasn't bad but watching him try and act like a detective is more amusing.

Well I suppose that would depend on who you are asking, I thoroughly enjoyed the Raiders game today . Yea, I saw the same thing, it's pretty funny watching him practice as an "unlicensed private detective". I wonder if all these "cases" he's taking on will lead to his 2nd novel? |

I caught the tail end of the episode where he had to get the screenplay back from the Psychiatrist. I was not very impressed, but I think I'll try to give it a full episode before I write it off.

Does Jason Schwartzman play any character besides "Smirking Douchebag"?

This seems like it would be right up my alley, but something isn't right about it. The noir thing can work with that archetype, but Robert Downey Jr. nailed it so hard in Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Bang that it makes Schwartzman look like a total amateur.

Saw it last night for the first time. Some funny lines/scenes but for some reason the episode as a whole left me sort of meh. I'll give it another week though.

I like it alot...the comedian(Zach something) and Ted Danson are great...and I think Schwartzman is perfect for the private detective role...

I agree with you about Galifinakis or however the hell his last name is spelled. I laughed out loud about 3-4 times, plus I've always had a crush on Parker Posey so it was puzzling how at the end of the show it just seemed like a bunch of potential that didn't quite come together.
Spoiler
