I like the way it looks a lot, just wish they had real teams. Fictional teams never hold my interest long term.

I just wish they had more customization of their fictional teams

Hah. I'm just sayin'.. it's not too much to ask that you get more than a handful of logos.

Yeah, gonna check it out tonight or tomorrow.

Funny though, I just noticed that the registration code portion of mine is blank!

They sent me 2 emails. The second one I opened had a code. I didn't bother opening the first.

I got the 2nd email with the code, but it didn't work.

Interesting, after seeing a page that said "invalid code" or whatever for the fourth time, I walked away in disgust to make something to eat. When I returned, the page was now the team page, and apparently I'm all registered. So if this happens to you, maybe you have to wait it out.

Looks like someone should have tested the beta tester e-mail. Sounds like they're going to need a LOT of testers. I also got two emails, with the code only in the second. I shouldn't make fun, though -- it's a pretty regular occurence for me to do stupid stuff like forget to attach files, or reply to one instead of replying to all (the gmail quick reply thing always gets to me on that one).

Im currently playing...its ok. Needs alot of testing.. Slow...has no stats yet. Alot of place holders for things that havent been implemented...Kinda makes you wish everyone was like Jim...Release a game when its ready...but of course they are calling this alpha testing

I played through a "single-player" game to see how the hell the game worked. There is so much missing from this alpha that I don't really understand the point of playing the game. The game's nowhere near the point where a tester will be doing any meaningful work. There aren't enough actual features implemented yet for the game to be any fun or testable beyond really braindead stuff that could have been tested by the devs themselves.

I played 2 games last night. one was a head to head matchup which I lost 21-17 and the other was a 16-10 loss to a PC team.

The game was slow during the stress test which was to be expected, but ran much better later in the evening. The opposing team returned a kickoff for a TD in both games so there might be an issue there.

I was not able to run the ball at all other than a 63 yd TD run. Outside of that run, the longest run i had was for 6 yds. most runs went for a loss. Passing in the game works great and might be a bit too good. My team was beaten for long passes severa times in 3rd and long situations despite me using a dime package.

The kicking game seemed ok as I made 2-3 FG's and saw an opposing team miss an XP.

Has anyone been playing this?

I played a game last night. It was fun. Ended up winning 14-7.

It reminds me of the old arcade football games except you don't control the players. Might play around with it for a bit to see how it goes. Hopefully they add a play editor.

Looks good but it is going to be free when released? I don't get it what is the hook why would a company spend this much effort on a free product? Something seems odd here?

Not sure on that part. Maybe it'll be like GLB, MMOBaseball, and the others. Free to play, pay to upgrade quicker.
