I'm With Stupid #169 -- The Decade in Review

The Rules

The rules are the same as previous FOFC “I’m With Stupid" Contests, as set forth by the game’s widely revered and most truly beloved founding fathers.

The object of this contest is to answer the questions posted, and to provide the most common answer among those submitted. For each question, your score will be equal to the number of people who submitted that response. Your score for the contest will be the product of your individual question scores. Yes, that word "product" here in the States means that they will be multiplied together, not added. Highest score wins.

Collaboration of any kind is strictly forbidden. No posting your answers to this board, nor sharing them by e-mail or in any other way with other potential contestants. Just don't be a douchebag.

All determinations of "matches" and anything else requiring judgment fall to that of the sole administrator of this round of the game. You can reduce the need for doubt and judgment by properly spelling your submissions, being clear, and that sort of thing. My decisions are final and utterly inarguable, no exceptions.

Any references that are unclear to you, due to language or geography, should be understood to be authored from the perspective of an English-speaking American. However...

Your answers do not necessarily have to be correct in order to score points. If I ask "What happened in the Leaf game last night?" and you and four others respond "They won" then you each get five points, period, even if it is not technically possible for that to be a correct answer.

The Decade known as the 00's will be ending shortly. Yes, it will. If you want to argue that the decade doesn't actually end until next year, you're in the wrong contest. You're looking for "I'm With The Sort of Anal Retentive Loser Nobody Likes".

1. Who was the most influential person of the last decade?

2. In the big four North American sports leagues (NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL), who was the most dominant athlete of the decade?

3. Here's a list of the Best Picture winners for the past ten years. Which one was least deserving?

4. On a scale of one to ten, where one is "terrible" and ten is "amazing", how would you rate the last decade in terms of the quality of popular music it produced?

5. Name the best television show that debuted in 2000 later.

6. Other than 9/11, what was the biggest news story of the decade?

Deadline: Answers are due... shit, I don't know, whenever I get around to adding them up. Let's say middle of next week some time.
