What exactly is the reserve roster opposed to having AAA? I don't really remember. I'm not against it at all, just looking for clarification.

Players still develop on the reserve roster. It just won't produce any stats for you to look at and you won't have to set a lineup or anything like that. There might be other things that someone else can point out, but my understanding of it has always been that the only difference is seeing your guys develop with stats versus not.

I don't think it'd prevent someone from losing ratings if they weren't playing at a high enough level or anything else, it's simply just a cosmetic thing. But there's a possibility that there were other changes in OOTP X that I'm not aware of that make it a more compelling choice, I'm just not aware of it.

As far as I know, it eliminates the whole "wrong age for the wrong level" thing for historical leagues.
