My taste buds are TRIPPIN' BALLS!
I got some Miracle Fruit Tablets via ThinkGeek for christmas, but I finally ate one today and ZOMG it's a strange sensation. I just ate a handful of baby carrots for the first time in about 20 years and they taste gloriously sweet. Took a bite of a lemon - taste like candy. Gonna try some Guinness tonight and see how that goes down.

Sounds like operator error. If you take one of these and start ingesting foodstuffs you don't normally eat, say, eating two whole lemons, then you run the risk of upsetting your digestive system with what is in those foods. If you decide to empty the fridge by trying random foods back to back in the half an hour that a tablet works... Well I imagine it is easy to destroy one's regular bowel movements. |

Guinness tastes sweet and a little fruity. The bitterness is there, it just doesn't register. A waste of a Guinness IMO.
I took a swig of Diet Mountain Dew and almost spit it out - way over the top sweet. I also ate a few cherry tomatoes, and they were like very sweet jellybeans. More to come... |

Dola - I'm hoping to find a combination of healthy foods that will permit me to eat large quantities of vegetables without wanting to kill myself after 2 minutes. I'll try green peppers tomorrow - I hear broccoli is the pits.

Now that you mention it, this could be a breakthrough if it can get kids eating more vegetables.
