Working with people overseas to resolve a huge problem or work right now, plus my wife had an emergency and had to go to school early for crisis intervention planning (or something like that). Man, what a let down.

Last year I fully expected some growing pains and to have a long season.

We made it all the way to the damn Classic.

This year, I am optimistic, looking forward to the season sim, and hoping I'll be competitive again.

We got out to one of the slowest starts and then tried to get back into the mix. Now we're sitting at about .500 and planning to be sitting at home for another Friday sim!

Balzac and St. Cloud have clinched playoff spots in the CL, with Balzac holding homefield advantage in the CLCS.


Ann Arbor plays Spring at home while Cleveland plays New York at home for the final game of the season.

If they remain tied, they will play a one game playoff to determine who will have homefield advantage in the RLCS.

Man, I am thinking I need to scrap everything and start over. I just can't seem to get this team to do anything right. I didn't expect to contend this year, but I didn't see this team being much different than my other teams, and, yet I am sitting here with the rest record I have ever posted in a FOOL season. Ouch.

It doesn't help that I still can't get any of my prospects to develop. I should trade them before I ruin them.

We have too many players asking for big contracts next year so instead of pick and choose, we're going to be letting them go and starting a long rebuild process. That said, I'm super excited to have one more shot before my team falls apart and I definitely attribute part of our success to that trade I made with the Lions, so thanks to Tasan for that!
