The Shield DVD Pricing

So I was given the first four seasons of The Shield on DVD as a gift. I'm already through Season 2, and know I want to purchase the rest of the series. I look on Amazon and find the following prices:

Season 5 marked down from $49.95 to $27.99
Season 6 marked down from $49.95 to $33.49
Season 7 marked down from $59.95 to $30.99

It would cost me approximately $92 to buy the remaining 3 seasons.

Or... I could buy the COMPLETE Series marked down from $159.95 to $87.49

I can understand favorably pricing the whole set, but at this discount, I don't see any other choice but to buy the Complete Series.

Because the average person doesn't take the time to do the math, it works out for them this way. It also gives people, for example, who don't want to spend $88 at one time a chance to piecemeal the purchase over time.

Buy the whole thing, stick the spares on ebay, problem solved. Hell, you might end up completing the set for about $40 additional once you sell off the spares.
