The 2111 FOOL Classic is set!

Napa Valley Winemakers return for their second straight season and are in search of their first title since 2087. They will face the Hartford Harpooners who just won the championship two seasons ago!

Congrats Teach

If there is any easier person to take a lose to I'd like to meet them. Any other time I'd be angry but losing to you is oh darn at least Teach won.

EDIT: Wife says good, do it more often.

Tell your wife that I'm sorry that I have failed her for SO long! I'm praying that I don't go another 6 months before another win!!!

And thanks for your kind words, I appreciate your gracious concession of victory!

Congrats Teach! Hang in there hyde, I complete understand your frustration. See for reference the 1980s and Rancheros.

Always love it when Teach wins (except when she beats me ).

Glad to see you back on the snide! With you and hyde going here, I couldn't lose.

I haven't seen this noted anywhere, but Simon Trudel retired after the 2111 season which saw him go 3-6 with a 1.55era in 87 innings.
This pushed his career era down to 2.41, which allows him to retire #1 with the best era of pitchers with over 1000 IP. I couldn't let such an accomplishment go un-noticed!
That breaks the 57yr record held by fellow releiver Doug Copeland who retired with a 2.49era back in 2054.

2111 also marked FOOLs 150th birthday! That is a heck of alot of candles! You don't look a day over 123!

Darn....I forgot we have a split data base....
Josh Wright has a career era of 2.405...retired in 2036.
Trudel has a career era of 2.413...good for 2nd best ever.
