I feel pretty good about the Marlies results this season. Seem's like pitching is taking a tiny step back right now. Good luck to the playoff teams tommorow

SO hyde et al,

Is there one particular page in the game where it is easy to see which minor leaguers need resigning otherwise you lose them? Or do you just go into each minor leaguer and give them a new contract every year?

I haven't seen a game page that tells me my minor leaguers are up

Go to front office then possible free agents and they are all listed there.

Just a note on this.. you'll want to check prior to the regular season sim, as well as prior to playoffs and then after playoffs. Depending on service time, players can appear or disappear from the list. So don't get caught offguard

You better 'feel pretty good' about the Marlies.
A good showing in this years playoffs might propel them to "The Greatest Dynasty Ever"

A championship this year will give the Marlies 3 in a row...which was only done once before by Alan's Valdosta Peanuts back in 1970-72. (at which time there were no wildcard playoffs, so to win the championship you only needed to win one round)

A title this year, also gives Toronoto 4 of the last 5 championships....which has only been done twice before. Valdosta again in 1970-74 and Teaches Winemakers in 2083-2087.

So be proud of what may become the greatest run in FOOL history!

1970-72 feels such a long time ago!

Oh and I am still bitter about the 1969 season. I still swear I had the best team that year too! *shakes fist at Commo Soldier*.

1973 I rightfully stunk it up that year. Atlanta had a great pitching rotation, and I had to retool my team again. (Ironically enough, Atlanta back then ended up becoming the Hammersmith team of today.. but the team that beat Atlanta in the Classic that season? Chief Rum manager of the Colorado Rancheros!)

Hitting wise all I have is power so I'll likely get swept. If my power gets going I could be dangerous though. Good luck Johnny and the other teams as well.

That was a great Colorado squad those years, capable itself of being ultra dominant, except we kept running into that dern awesome Valdosta squad. The addendum to Alan's story is that prior to that wonderful (and odd, given the historical significance of me beating what has become my primary franchise) 1973 season, Valdosta beat my Rancheros in both the 1971 and 1972 Classics to finish off their threepeat. So while they were winning three in a row, I was getting to three Classics in a row, and only getting over the hump when Alan's Valdosta squad finally took a season off.

That was my last season with Colorado. I went on a two season hiatus from FOOL, and recruited some newb to take over my great Colorado squad. He immediately went on to F' it all up. I'm not sure what happened to him, hope he ended up a good manager (hi Tasan!).

thanks for the tips guys. I guess since I see no minor leaguers on that list it means that I've lost them all already.

Oh and 3b Xu Chen joins the 20/20 club!

I didn't realize these types of runs were so rare. Maybe it's cuz Teaches Winemakers just went on a really nice run. I'm very proud of what we have done up to now, and I'm gonna be doing everything i can to extend it.
