Electrical Help Needed...
This started up today, and cannot figure out what is happening.
One side of the house has all the electrical outlets suddenly stop working. After a variable amount of time, they come back on. When the power goes out, I have checked the breaker box, but nothing is thrown. The time things have remained out has varied from about an hour, to a couple of minutes. Oddly, the outlets are not a single circuit. The bathroom on the opposite side of the house is also affected. This also only affects outlets. The lights in the room stay on. WTF is going on? |

Sounds like a GFI tripping out or going bad.

I'll weigh in with this... I had an Uncle with a similar problem and he thought he had bad breakers. Turns out, he was hooked to two different phases in his electrical service and one phase was having problems, hence some electrical outlets didn't work. Not sure if this helps, but it was also a very weird electrical issue.

I had the power company come out and it was an issue on their end. Seems there was a voltage issue.
