Offensive player of the week?

In my current FOF4 game Mark Brunnel was 23-54 for 278, 0 Td and 0 INT AND his team lost. He was offensive player of the week Is there any possible way to explain this?

Did he run for a lot of yardage? Punt? Catch some passes? A lot of low scoring games?

I'm grasping at straws.

Considering it's Brunnel, perhaps making it through an entire game without getting injured?

seeing as how none of Troys suggestions were true this seeme the only posssible explaination. That probably means until he gets wrekced in week 7 that Fred Taylor will win a few times just for safely getting his helmet and pads on.

2 weeks later:
Brunnel 28-43 2 TD 0 InT
Offensive player of the week again

good #s, but other had better. Several RBs and WRs had outstanding games too. Maybe Jim is a Jags fan?

True, he idolized by fans. Is the fan popularity category just for the fans of the team he plays for or is it all fans? Why doesnt this ever change when players change teams?

What I hate the most is all those Linebackers OR safeties earning Defensive Player of the Year honors. Seems like if it's not for one of those two positions, you can forget it.

There have been many threads on this aspect of the game and I am convinced that it is broken. I swear it is a random selection type of deal.

If Jim reads this, could he comment on how this is determined?

In my last Tequilas game, my QB went 25-52 for nearly 300 yards, but threw 5 picks. He wasn't the game MVP or the overall offensive MVP, but he was on the top performances list.

Well Cuervo72, QBs don't throw 5 interceptions every day, it's pretty amazing if a QB can throw for 3 or 4 int without being replaced...

dola,

Even though I've already posted to this thread and knew what it was about, when I saw it again this morning, I immediately thought they had started keeping track of the smelliest, most disgusting player.
