4 days is plenty.
Or until the first "not" vote is cast on a chick you disagree with. |

I said three. It seems we don't last longer than that before going around in circles. Two a week would be good, or like i said in the other thread, I could do a tournament style alternating with the hot or not.

Once the first one records like 150 votes, or voting has seemingly stalled. Or if a pre numbered amount of Not votes has been cast.

Just an FYI, I can't stop a poll once it has started it has a predetermined end, so there are no options to stop at 150 votes or etc. I can only choose the number of days.

With the recurring posts in the images thread, I wonder if we should have a Model Mayhem offshoot to these polls ("hey, why aren't girls like THIS ever in these?"). Could have Celeb Thursday and Model Monday.

I like the length really. They leave us wanting more. If you have too many too fast everyone will grow tired of them and not have the enlightening discussions (aka pointless arguments) about them that they do.

If you ARE going to cut the pole short (OUCH!), I would hesitate to cut it in half. Just cut the tip off and slowly pull it back to test it out. (say 5 or 6, not to 3). Cutting it in half will rush things too much and will cause things to happen prematurely.

Since this echoes what I was going to suggest, I think this is the most articulate and cogent post in the whole thread. That is in spite of the typos. The rest of you are morons. Go Abe! |
