Monday, October 30th, 2090: Great glovemen can range far and wide to make a backhand stop or an over-the-shoulder catch -- and the best usually make it look easy. Today the winners of the Continental League Slick Fielder Award for 2090 were announced. These awards for defensive excellence go to:

CL's Best Rookie Announced
Tuesday, October 31st, 2090: John Davis of the Terriers had a good year during 2090. In his debut season the Manchester center fielder hit .246 on his way to the Kien-lung Teng Award.

Davis collected 165 hits with 16 home runs, 74 RBIs and 82 runs scored.


Frost Is RL's #1 Rookie
Tuesday, October 31st, 2090: The top rookie in the Republic League was Waikiki left fielder Jeffrey Frost. He impressed voters so much that they named him the 2090 Kien-lung Teng Award recipient.

Frost put up some pretty fair numbers, including a .242 batting average and .280 on-base percentage, while racking up 29 home runs, 103 RBIs and 84 runs scored.

King of the Hill Announced by Continental League
Thursday, November 2nd, 2090: This past season Harry Weareorwear put on quite a show in the Continental League. In 32 starts he posted a 19-7 record for St Louis to capture the 2090 Mauro Morales Award.

In 32 starts and 222.2 innings, Weareorwear yielded 193 hits, holding the opposition to a .233 average. He chalked up 140 strikeouts and posted a 2.55 ERA.


Delgado Tops Republic League Pitchers
Thursday, November 2nd, 2090: The New York Legends have a rising superstar or maybe even a budding Hall-of-Famer in the making.
It's Bartolo Delgado, this year's Republic League Mauro Morales Award selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance.

Delgado compiled a 17-7 record in 37 starts, tallied 222 strikeouts in 236.1 innings and recorded a 3.01 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .246 batting average against him.

Tokaji Sekine Chosen CL's Best Hitter
Friday, November 3rd, 2090: What a way to finish off the year -- being honored with the 2090 Bartolo Liriano Award in the Continental League. It had already been a very special season for Plantana's Tokaji Sekine, but today's announcement really put the icing on his cake.

All season long Tokaji Sekine gave opposing pitchers fits by hitting .320 as he collected 203 hits, 34 doubles, 7 triples, 32 home runs and 99 RBIs.


#1 Batter Named by Republic League
Friday, November 3rd, 2090: Roberto Trevino has been around FOOL-X enough to know a good hot streak when he sees one -- and he got to see one firsthand all year. For his standout run through the 2090 season, he's taking home the Bartolo Liriano Award in the Republic League.

The Waikiki catcher put up a batting average of .306 with 37 doubles, 2 triples, 38 home runs and 114 RBIs.
