Ping Teachers + Parents: Paperless classrooms

My school just signed up for Microsoft 365 so teachers can now post homework online and kids can do it on the cloud.

I was wondering if there is a program (working with 365 preferably, but not necessarily) that integrates with an ipad (or any tablet) so a teacher could access the document on the ipad, easily do handwritten corrections with either a stylus or a finger and upload it back to the cloud so both parents and kids could easily see the comments and final grade. Does such a thing exist?

We're doing this through our Learning Mangement System (Haiku in our case) and other schools are doing likewise (whether through Moodle, Blackboard, etc). There are other ways of doing this outside of that structure but having no experience with 365 on the iPad I hesitate to comment.

We use something called My Big Campus, it's like an education Facebook. You can post homework, do Google Docs, even make and assign quizzes. I'm not sure of an app that can do what you want. I know there are some good whiteboard apps that would let the teacher record what they do with a stylus and then throw that to the cloud (splash top is the best I know of), but nothing that would let them load and then edit documents, but I'll see if I can find anything.

Now that I'm not in my Friday haze, I'd strongly checkout Edmodo (Edmodo | Secure Social Learning Network for Teachers and Students) as I believe it can do much of what you're asking.

My son uses Edmodo too, seems like a good product (as long as everyone buys into it/sticks with it).

Thanks for the suggestions guys. Yeah looks like what I want doesn't quite exist yet. It is tough being so cutting edge :-)
