NBA 2k12

Bought this a couple of weeks ago and outside of 2 exhibition games, I haven't played this at all. I'll get into it eventually. Probably will unlock the old teams so I can stick some of those guys in franchise mode so I can have a really super league to make it a huge challenge.

That's what I do, more or less. Still playing my 2k11 franchise that started this way. If 2K released a patch to fix the last major bugs, I'd switch over. As it is now, I may just wait for 2k13.

For those of you that have not purchased yet but plan to and also may be interested in MLB2K this year they will be released as a 2-pack for 69.99 according to one source I read today.

Not sure that is a bug savings since if you waited awhile you could probably get each on sale for 30 each anyway.

Boy.. Miami just smoked us, as they should. This game is great, glad I finally decided to give it a shot. I love the way the commentators talk about your last game and how you won it. The post game interviews, etc.. it's all very well done.

I was thinking I would only play key games, but at this point I've played them all and have been decent in a few of them.

My only small gripe and believe me the game does 95% right, is I don't feel like I have total control of my player, it's like the animations are too long or something.. but I can live with it.

I was knocked on my butt last game and would heal in 7 games if I didn't play and 14 game if I decided to play.. needless to say, I'm playing through the pain.

I am just horrible on offense in this game. Got pretty good last year but in 2k12 I'm just getting my ass kicked, can't get an open shot to save my life and even when I've got a clear path to the basket I end up using the wrong shot and getting blocked or blowing the layup. I really don't want to go down a level or tweak the settings in my favor too much but man, not much fun right now.

I officially hate Baron Davis. My PC version apparently still has the "trade at the drop of a hat" issue, so our Rockets acquired him. Man is he a selfish me-first PG who can't actually shoot, he's single-handedly sinking our season. And if the "draft in alphabetical order" bug is still there, it won't even get us a top pick.

I got very disappointed in MLB 2k11. The hot / cold streak stuff was way overblown, get 2 hits in a row to get "hot", not hit on the next 3 and go "cold" and spend forever trying to dig out of it. Back to NBA for the myplayer fix.

In my career, my Jazz have traded for Baron Davis AND Monta Ellis. So, yeah, I've beefed up my offensive rebounding attribute...

Yeah, fouls are too low on default. I usually turn off the ball fouls up to max, reaching fouls to 70, and shooting fouls to about 60-65 depending on my team, or else it begins to get a bit easy to draw fouls on drives.

Okay, hadn't; played the game since the patch came out. Now when I play the game I get a crash to desktop in the middle of every game that I have tried to play (3 attempts and 3 crashes to desktop right in the middle of the freaking game; no error at all, just instant desktop). I haven't been able to finish a game. Anyone else have any issues with the PC version?

I've played a whole bunch of games on PC post-patch no issues. Is there any sort of error.log file in the NBA 2K12 dir? Also update your graphic drivers if you haven't done so lately.
