Maybe I need to change the schedule because once you submit your protection list its final. I figured we'd know who was resigning with the players giving instant feedback. If they say they agree to the contract you are offering then protect them. My wife just throws a fit if I have to run sims on Sundays so I was trying to not have a Sunday sim. You guys are all very good friends but her hollering and being angry at me makes me try other routes. Open to feedback on a new idea on how to handle it.

I can't recall many occasions where a player I offer a deal to doesn't accept. If you're lowballing someone maybe you should just let him go and protect someone else.
