Just post in here to let me know. And make sure your pitches match the ones in NCAA 2012. (I think that'd be an easy aspect to forget.)

Alright, I'm done with my roster too. I'm wondering if we need to advance to the next stage to make sure the pitches are updated to reflect the new season in game in NCAA 2012. I'm not home tonight, so I can't check, but will tomorrow.

Nevermind. No need to advance us in game. Just EA's crappy site not allowing us to recruit (and see pitches) at this stage.
Indiana is ready to roll. Might get a chance to set things up tonight. |

Another thing to make sure have correct is your team's star rating.

Just let Kodos know, I should have my team ready by noon on Thursday. I'm heading home tomorrow afternoon, so I'll be working on finishing it up tomorrow night/Thursday morning.

Are we good to go yet? Tomorrow night looks like a good night for me to set up the league because my wife will be out with her friends at the new Twilight movie.

Sorry folks, but I don't think I'm going to be able to get my team finished until this weekend. The last 2 1/2 weeks have been crazy, with Vegas, then a network meltdown with my big customer, my uncle passing away, and now Thanksgiving. I apologize for holding things up for everyone.

No problem - real life is always more important than fake football. Sorry to hear about the passing of your uncle.

Any word on exactly which "House Rules" (the NCAA term for the screen where you set difficulty, clock settings, etc) we'll be using? I'd like to set my practice dynasty up the same way. Right now I'm on Heisman difficulty and finding it a bit TOO hard - I'm getting thrashed by equal talent teams, have hard battles against lesser ranked teams, but can still solidly beat FCS teams. I need to know if I need to keep practicing, or if we're using All-American difficulty, what player speed threshold to use, what quarter length to use (note that there does not seem to be a true accelerated clock this time around, or I can't find it, so 8 minute quarters seems to give a long game), etc.

Maybe 7 minutes on Heisman default with adjusted penalty sliders? I don't have a strong opinion, although I am also getting thrashed in my solo online dynasty which uses adjusted Heisman sliders. I do think we should use the slow speed.
I was using BYU 14's sliders (below), but was getting thrashed, so I made some adjustments midseason (then continued to get thrashed). Quote:

Maybe I'll try a few rounds on All-American to see if it gets too easy. The biggest issue on Heisman seems to be the defensive line overwhelming my offensive line. Everything else feels reasonable.

We could always boost human blocking. I seem to recall all american was too easy. Recruiting should definitely be on heisman. Despite going 1-10, I have a top 15 recruiting class with a scrub team on AA recruiting level.

Finally have Rice completed. Ran into an issue with XBox Live, but got that sorted out, and have made sure the team recruiting ratings are correct.

Okay. Won't get to this tonight, as I'll be watching IU vs. UNC. But maybe tomorrow night.

I've played several games on Heisman now with 7 minute quarters, slow speed, and human pass/run blocking to 60. It feels much better, especially running. I'm getting some holes against comparable / inferior defenses, and having trouble running consistently against superior defenses. Pass blocking may be better at 55 - the defense gets SOME pressure on 60, but not as much as I'd expect. On the other hand, that compensates for the fact that EA seems to think it rains during EVERY SINGLE COLLEGE FOOTBALL GAME IN FLORIDA. It looks like they made the same mistake FOF did - just because it rains on average like 120 days out of the year, most of those are short showers, and the vast majority of football games get played in beautiful weather. The rain means extra drops for the receivers, and some slipping on routes. The big advantage I have right now is my ability to switch between run and pass when one or the other is not working; that couldn't overcome the lack of O-Line play before this tweak, and now it can against comparable or worse talent. Better opposition is still hard to move the ball against as it should be. So my recommendation to start is 60 human run blocking, 55 human pass blocking, 7 minute quarters, slow speed, and whatever penalty adjustments you were planning on. Have any others played much to have an opinion? We don't want this tweaked for just my play style

Those sound good to me. Any other input, guys? I've never been a sliders guru.
