NCAA and/or Madden Coach League Anyone?

Without a more recent simulator available, is anyone wanting to start up a NCAA or Madden coach league?

I guess we can actually watch the games and/or call plays. I imagine there are pro's and con's to both:

NCAA
+Don't have to worry about trade-fest 2013 which always happens
+Could be in the same conference or all take same star-ranked teams
+Short seasons
+Recruiting rivalries
+Could easily get a bunch of seasons in even just "playing" once or twice/week
-We'd have to really limit people taking advatage of deep balls so not every game is 76-70.

Madden
+The draft would be fun
+Game seems to play well
+Could possibly fill the entire league
+We all love FOF...maybe this could work?
-Would anyone want to put a 1-3 trade/season cap on trading?

I've always thought setting up a "world" of guys in which we rotate each game once a year and sim on a daily basis would be cool. We'd do baseball all summer, football in the fall, and run offseasons of certain sports while others are playing games.
OOTP/MLB Show
NCAA
Madden
NBA 2K
NCAA 2k8
NHL
FIFA?
Boxing lol

Anyway, back on topic...anyone want to put something together fresh and get some seasons in for a football league? We could do both Madden and NCAA?!

Oh and I posted this here because of the group of guys--seems like a group who could do this thing the right way.

Problem is you cant coach head to head in NCAA. If you could, the game would be a lot more fun.

You can do auto pass but it does affect the scrambling QBs. I commish a coach mode dynasty at Utopia and some of the best games I've had are the human vs. human games.

I don't know why they can't just do a strict coach mode. I also don't know why you can't choose the controller layout you prefer to use. A good football sim with the ability to coach head to head online would be fantastic. It would also be nice if they patched the simple issue of the safety aggression. I can't play the game anymore because of that, and people have been complaining about it since before the first patch.

We have to police ourselves with the deep ball which is unfortunate. I have gotten to where I enjoy the recruiting and game planning more than actually calling the plays.

What's the deal with the deep ball? In my experience so far it's high risk / reward. Sure I complete a fair number, but never more than a couple a game. My QB misses the open receiver sometimes, there is good coverage others. It gets picked off by the safety a fair amount, and I take sacks often enough. Seems pretty realistic to me right now. It's all about what defense gets called - press coverage with a blitz leads to a sack, 2 safeties deep usually means an incompletion or INT, it's when you bring a safety up in run support with most other defenders in short/medium zones that it usually works.

There's a time when the settings for zone coverage get turned to aggressive, and after that happens, you can hit deep ball after deep ball. I came back from being 49 points down in a game due to my backup QB throwing for nearly 600 yards and 8 td's in the second half, mostly in the 4th quarter. He did that on less than 20 throws. All they have to do to fix this is to stop the computer from going into this coverage adjustment unless it is an absolute certainty that the other team will be running the ball.

Which difficulty level?

How do you play Madden in coach mode? The closest I see is just starting the plays and not moving the controller but that only works on defense and running plays. What am I missing?
