need car stereo help
i posted about this on a dodge avenger forum and not having any luck with an answer so i thought i would try the collective brains here
i have a 2008 dodge avenger sxt...within the past week or so, the stock radio unit (AM/FM/CD/SAT/AUX - 6 speaker system) has started randomly cutting out. the head unit still has power, the station and modes can be changed, but after a small static pop comes over, no more sound at all comes out of the speakers. as soon as you shut the car off and start it again, the soundsystem works again, until it randomly decides to cut off again. i have checked the 2 fuses in the box under the hood that control the radio and both are fine. |
