Yeah, had a nice last couple days. B-E had a big heart attack Tuesday night. I woke my dad up at 2:30 and by 4:30 I was strapped down getting a stent. Pretty amazing how quickly they can do a procedure like that.
The doctor said some bullshit about diabetes and hypertension and high cholesterol as main causes but I hardly think so. I blame the fuckin' Warriors losing a 16 point lead with 4 minutes to go. Gah! |

Thanks for the well wishes.
3 months until I turn 50...well, probably. The doc told me that my type of heart attack has a 25% mortality rate. I still can't believe how quickly they got me on the table. Glad I was released so quickly, too. My dad is 80 and, since my mom passed a couple years ago, really lost when I'm not here. |

Heh...as updates go, mine was pretty crappy
I am doing better now. I am actually losing weight just from cutting out beer, wings and pizza. Also learned to make a low-sodium chicken soup that's become an all star in my culinary arsenal. I miss getting drunk. Oh man, do I miss getting drunk. |
