I don't disagree, but Undertaker is the type of guy who's going to want to put someone over in the end, and I guess he decided the time was right.

Everybody assumed a younger guy when in the end they seemed to want to pass it to a big bad. My only disappoint outside of it ending is I'm not sure Brock is the guy you would want carrying that mantle.

Brock's a part-timer. He's never been passionate about the industry and will never be a full-time member of the roster.

Bray would have been a great fit. While I know I have to suspend disbelief, I just don't think Taker going over Brock is believable and I'm glad Lesnar won. It was embarrassing enough with Brock having to sell those weak ass gogoplatas.

Then again, aside from Bray/Cena, did anything all night actually excite the crowd as much as the Hogan/Austin/Rock appearances? Maybe being full-time just doesn't matter any more?

Well, when you start out with the biggest match on the card this is the result.

Okay, that's probably fair. But is that mostly shock value rather than anybody being over?

Bryan-HHH did, and they seemed into the Shield from my perspective.

I think the big question is when did Undertaker decide he was going to lose (retire?). If it was in the last month or so, then they were basically locked in with Brock as an opponent. If he decided before the last PPV, then I don't know why the thinking of Brock as the opponent.

Are you serious? The crowd was as flat in Cena-Wyatt as anything all night outside of the divas. Bryan, The Shield and Cesaro all had better reactions.

Everything I'd read suggested that Wyatt's gimmick was hot as hell tonight {shrug}

The crowd was singing "He's got the whole world" without Bray even instigating it.

It was, but the fight dragged during Cena's moment(s) of indecision. It was too long, too much repetition.

If the entire announcing team wasn't so terrible, this show would have been much more enjoyable.

Orton impressed just in regards to how much of a trooper he was down the stretch because I'm pretty sure I would've been content to just lay there until they cleared out the arena after hitting that monitor.

Cesaro continues to amaze me with his strength. I still think his Battle Royal victory would've been better had he gotten a chance to toss Swagger too.

There were two potential disappointments for me: Undertaker's loss but, frankly, they put on a better match than I thought they could and if they can get Brock full-time it gives them a beast of a bad guy (especially given the babyface turn that Roman and The Shield are undergoing).

The other disappointment was the Cena win. I would've been better with his win had he at least gone crazy and tried to destroy Bray so that Bray gets the mental victory and Cena the physical one. I thought the crowd was very much into the match though given the unprompted singing as well.

I was pretty good with everything else though.

I get a kick out of WWE fans that think they should be able to book the matches. It would get boring in a real hurry if that fans always got their way.

Good WM. I thought Daniel could have sold better after the match was over but.... great performance.

So giving this some thought, let's assume this is Taker's last match. The old school mentality is that you go out on your back. If you are the Undertaker (and an admitted avid MMA fan at that) would you rather go out and lose the streak against the only person to ever win a NCAA wrestling Division 1 Championship, WWE Championship and UFC Championsip and generally someone who is considered amongst the most legit toughest fighters on the planet or... anyone else?

Putting aside, at least for the moment, it's not a work (Undertaker is carny enough that he would do something like this), looks like one of the reasons why the match was so disjoineted was that Undertaker got his bell rung pretty good and was pulling an audible.

WWE News: Undertaker taken to hospital after WrestleMania 30

Prowrestling.net can confirm reports that Undertaker (Mark Calaway) was taken by ambulance to a hospital in New Orleans after his WrestleMania 30 match with Brock Lesnar on Sunday. It is believed that he suffered a concussion during the match

edit: Meltzer updated that they're going to keep him overnight for observation, a possible neck injury and concussion symptoms.

Supposedly Undertaker is the one who wanted this finish. He picked Brock.

They announced Network sub numbers today. So far it seems their stock is down over 20%.
