FOF2004: Two-Headed Monster
Well, I finally came out of FOF retirement (purchased every title, just haven't played a season of any of them since FOF2) and fired up FOF2004. Great game. Got right back into it. Fantastic game.
Anyway, I have run into a small problem. During my first off-season I went to re-hire my offensive coordinator. His contract was up and he was decent enough, despite my awful 3-13 record (I'm the Lions, what do you expect?). Unfortunately I made a bit of a gaffe and hired him as a HEAD COACH instead of an O-Coordinator. The game wouldn't let me progress until I signed an O-Coordinator. I did that, but couldn't find a way to fire one of my head coaches. I have begun the season with 2 head coaches. Is there anyone to cut one? How will this effect the team? (Note: This is only the begining of my problems. Not only can Charles Rogers not stay healthy, I had a little TOO much success in free agency. My cap situation will be awful next year...) |

I know in FOF4 if you had a head coach and hired another it would automatically release the previous one from his contract. I think ths may be a bug.

you know, I did the same thing after the first year. It's real easy to do. I think I went back to my saved game to "undo" it (I can't remember whether it was auto save or a custom save, but it got me back to just before hiring)
edit - p.s., I did that because I couldn't find any other way to get around the problem. Last edited by yabanci : 11-19-2003 at 06:34 AM. |
