Sharknado 2: The Thread?

How is it possible the FOFC is not all over this?

They became too self aware and ruined the charm.

I'm waiting for them to complete the trilogy so I can ignore them all at once.

edited to add: And yes they are making another one.

The cameos have been great. Judd Hirsch FTW.
Jared from Subway was probably the best one-off, but Andy Dick in the first scene was awfully good too.

(Kurt Angle is still to come, I think ... unless I missed him)

Enjoyed it, although the atrocious NYC/subway geography had me yelling at the TV. I suppose if I'm not annoyed by the realism of a sharknado, I should be able to tolerate the 7 train going uptown or downtown Manhattan suddenly turning industrial.

Coincidentally, the 7 was named the BEST subway line by some group, just today: Straphangers Report Names No. 7 Line Best In NYC Subway System « CBS New York

7 hasn't gotten this much publicity since John Rocker.

I've wondered about this actually, especially for people in places like New York that are always in movies. I found it distracting in the Matrix when they were filming chase scenes in Sydney, and they'll be running down one street, change camera angles, and then I recognise they are about 12 blocks away. Also The Wolverine wedding scene in "Japan" was a bit distracting when I could see my office window in the background.

I've always wondered, is it redundant to throw rice at a Chinese wedding?

Sort of a modern version of the Mountains of Los Angelos phenomenon where many old movies and shows and serials would have the same mountains in the background or main up. Or that dumb rock formation Vasquez Rocks in every stupid movie/tv show. (Vasquez Rocks - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

They lost me when they didn't bring back Nova.

I still say Spring Break Shark Attack and Jersey Shore Shark Attack were better.

3.9 million viewers but one billion tweets?? Sounds like a lot of people just trying too hard to make a joke.

IIRC the estimated number of individual tweeters was something under a half million.

But there was some quality (Wil Wheaton among them)
