Speaking of shameful things...

Take a look at the high lows and tell me that there isnt a conference based agenda.
A few interesting tidbits
- The lowest ranking for VT is unranked.
- The lowest rank for OSU is 18 (where they are ranked)
- The highest for each is 6 and 19. Which means if they guy who voted OSU 6th was the same guy who voted VT at 19 he thought OSU was 13 better despite losing at home by 14
- Someone voted SC at #9 after being demolished by aTm at home and hanging on to barely beat ECU again at home.
- I think UCLA is ranked too high based on their body of work but just my opinion.
- Ditto for NC
- I think Louisville, Ok ST, and BYU all should be ranked
- Bama has done nothing to deserve #2 compared to what Oklahoma and Oregon have done but this will sort itself out.

As you have said, a lot of this will work itself out, but some of the rankings are strange. No way VA Tech should be lower than Ohio St. No way Ohio St. should have a 6th ranked vote after that game. If the LOWEST vote Ohio State got was 18, then Va Tech needs to be ranked by the lowest non voter.

Notre Dame should be higher IMHO. (and I hate Notre Dame) I have no idea how anyone could have watched Georgia and said "Hmmm, that's the 12th best team in the country" (I know, the coaches don't watch any, or many of the games. Still pretty stupid IMHO)

Yep, just Bug being Bug.

You're not reading Hi/Low correctly. That's telling us the highest and lowest they've been ranked in the polls, not the highest and lowest anyone currently ranked the teams.

It was an embarrassing day for the Big Ten for sure. I liked OSU losing badly, but the MSU loss hurt.

And, yeah, if you struggle with Ball State, I think your playoff dreams are pretty much D.O.A.

No matter what you think of them, you can't just put it on coaches. Look at the polls posted here.

I had Georgia at #11 last week. Two others were lower than that.
In total here's how the FOFC'ers saw them
6-8-11-9-12-8-13-8, with a final aggregate of 9.

Also, 12th was Georgia's pre-season AP ranking, before the win over Clemson (they were 8th in USA Today). After their opening win they went to 6 in AP. This week they're now 6th in both.

Well, I will say this in response, Iowa improves as the year goes on. Usually.

And being 2-0, the dream is alive.

Why would the PAC-12 give a fine to a Big Ten AD?

Just my 2 cents about the USC AD thing...the NCAA released a video to all coaches and AD about how abusive language and actions on the sideline that demean officials will not be tolerated this year. We are told to flag them immediately. Also, the only person on the coaching staff which is allowed to interact with an official is the Head Coach, not the AD, not the President, the Head Coach.

The officials are partly to blame here. They should have never gave him the forum to talk.

Haven't seen any video of this, or pics from other angles, but this is what the USC homers are upset about:

I once sat next to Barry Alverez at a bar in Indy, after Penn State basketball beat Wisconsin 37-33 in the B1G Tourney, and he was drinking an Appletini.

Either he is a real big John Dorian fan...or I dont know what...but I have to laugh anytime I see his picture.

What went wrong there? Seemed like he was on the right track a few years ago and then it just went off the rails.
