RB Speed
It seems that there aren't many speedy running backs in FOF2K4's game-generated rookie classes. In fact, I'm seeing quite a few guys in the 4.7-4.8 range. Due to the crash issue with importing drafts, I can't make a comparison with the RBs coming in from TCY.
Who else has noticed this? Could this have something to do with ypc being so low? Also, with the default rosters, their are very few RBs with any elusiveness. Maybe this has something to do with it, too. |

Maybe elusiveness, but there are probably a good number of running backs in the NFL with "true" 4.7-4.8 speed.

I'm not sure that there's a particularly strong connection between "elusiveness" in FOF and pure speed. The game translates elusiveness as "ability to occasionally break long runs at the expense of sometimes getting caught begind the line of scrimmage." In my mind, that might be a little more connected to agility and tackle-breaking than flat-out speed.

Quiksand,
In other words Elusiveness is "Barry Sanders" ability. Todd

Agreed. Elusiveness sounds more like Barry Sanders. If anyone would have an 100 elusiveness it would have been him. Flat-out speed is more along the lines of Michael Bennett. |

Well, maybe I wasn't clear enough. I wasn't trying to correlate elusiveness and speed. I was just pointing out what I perceive to be a lack of speed among draftees and a lack of elusiveness among stock RBs. Maybe these are among the reasons why rushing stats are so low. |

Hmm... I'm pretty sure I'd meant to quote Huckleberry but clicked the wrong button. |
