Yeah.. Lindley may be the worst QB in NFL history. Since 1990, Only Babe Laufenberg has a worse career passer rating with 200 or more attempts. SURELY there was someone out there better than Lindley. How a team in Arizona's position allows themselves to be doomed like that blows my mind. I have to think that absolutely any other QB would have been better.

If Lindley still has a spot in the NFL next season I will be stunned beyond description.

Their major rival is on one side -Pittsburgh On the other is the team that abandoned them and their city. I got to think that, secretly, they want a remake of the bodybag game the Eagles had.

I'm torn since I dislike both teams so bodybag game it is. Bonus if Harbaugh pops a vein in his head.

He was in a bad situation and probably was the best option, in that he knew the offense somewhat, though bring in another system for most of the year hurts.

I think more than anything it speaks to the inability of Logan Thomas to grasp the offense. Great measurables, but he regressed in college and doesn't seem to have NFL acumen. He was a project pick to begin with and I don't see him ever being serviceable which leaves the Cards looking for a QB with Palmer's career winding down. Kirk Cousins might actually be a good fit, don't see how they get anyone that much better.

Matt Hasselbeck surely could have been had for a 7th rounder.

I tend to think Carolina earned there spot every bit as much as Arizona did. Tough to ding them for Arizona not being able to find a backup QB familiar with the forward pass.

By no means a diss on them, they won the division and not their fault it was a weak division. My comment was more along the lines of two teams going in opposite directions.

Disgusting and embarrassing pretty much describes that game to me. And even with how horribly they played in the second half-they still somehow had a legitimate chance to win in the 4th quarter-both of which Lindley gave away. Can't fault the defense too much other than the horrible tackling. Mostly made up of 2nd and 3rd stringers and on the field far too long no surprise they were beaten down so much in the end of games the last few weeks.

My beloved Cards deserved a better finish than this-after starting 8-1 and still making the playoffs with the carousel at QB and RB. Coach Arians is Coach of the Year for sure for me. I picked them to go 8-8 if they were lucky given how they started the season with injuries and suspensions to many of their key players. They need four things for next season above all

1. Ryan Lindley to never wear a Cardinals jersey again-There just had to be a veteran QB with playoff experience they could have gone with here-should have stashed him on the practice squad for a couple weeks and gotten him ready for this game.

2. Drew Butler to also never to wear a Cardinals jersey again. He almost single-handedly gave the Panthers the win with his pitiful punts.

3. They need to get younger at many positions-especially on DL and LB. Also sadly probably Larry Fitzgerald needs to go as well unless he takes a big pay cut, which he likely won't do.

4. Pray to every god out there for the full recovery of all their key players who they lost to season-ending injuries. Especially Carson Palmer.

Good luck to the remaining teams in the playoffs, except the Seahawks of course

At the end of the 1990 season, my dad and I were in Atlanta to watch Indiana in the Peach Bowl. We managed to snag tickets to the Falcons/Cowboy game while we were in town. Cowboys needed to win...Aikman was hurt...Laufenberg started. I can't even describe how utterly bad he was in that game.

Surely the fact that Tate was able to protect himself suggests that he wasn't defenceless?

Baltimore stops Pitt on 3rd down with a minute left, 3 time outs, and waits until 20 seconds runs off to take one?

And that's why I hated the two point conversion. Now Pitt has to get a conversion to tie.

Think NE gets the harder divisional. Baltimore will push them more than Cincy or Indy can push Denver.

As much as I hate to admit it, I wanted Baltimore to win this game and the next, as it would give the Colts a home game in the AFC championship should they make it that far.

Otherwise f*** Baltimore

Unfortunately, this one was all on the defense. Not being able to get off the field on third downs was the key. Plus not being able to cap off drives with TD's instead of long FG's. The whole thing sucked. It was the perfect tribute to an infuriatingly inconsistent year.

I definitely didn't understand going for two. If the opposing team scores any kind of points, you've forced yourself to go for two later in the game.

The Bengals will not have Green or Gresham today.

The Colts should play nine in the box.
