Empire was quite entertaining tonight! Will have to see if it can keep up the fun soapiness.

Saw a commercial for Allegiance, which apparently will follow the Blacklist this season.

I liked it a lot better when FX did it and it was called "The Americans"

Looking forward to Broadchurch and Orphan Black. New season of Top Gear starts next week. Gotham pretty much fills out the list.

I need to watch Broadchurch. Keep forgetting.

Is it worth watching Gracepoint instead?

It's Amazon Pilot season and while they are usually underwhelming, The Man in the High Castle is terrific. It's loosely based off the Phillip K Dick novel and has Ridley Scott behind it. I know it's just Amazon, but seriously give this pilot a shot. It's worth the hour of your time.

"Just Amazon"? You mean the company that won the Golden Globe for Transparent?

I'm definitely giving "The Man in the High Castle" a shot (maybe I'll see it tonight). I've heard great things!

The last two episodes my wife has cried as if someone has died. I fear watching the last three episodes knowing what they appear to be setting up. I'll miss the show though. An absoutely fantastic show that has never received the attention or accolades it deserves.

Plus 1. It is my favorite show that my wife introduced to me.

I don't watch much network TV. Way too busy. So TV is usually DVR/appointment TV for me. The only two shows I currently make time for (besides sports) is Game of Thrones and the Walking Dead.

So I usually only end up watching TV while I am working out at the gym, because that is what they have on. As a result, I have seen several episodes of Person of Interest and Criminal Minds in the past few years, and I have to say (among a lot of crappy other shows), those two are very good shows.

Just wondering what the official TV watchers here though. In particular, I think Criminal Minds is excellent, while Person of Interest can sometimes get a bit too self-important (but still very well done).

I like Criminal Minds. I DVR it and breeze through it on Wednesday nights. Sometimes it can get a bit eye-rollingly improbable, but I like the characters actually, so that helps.

anybody watching Galavant?

I find stupidously funny

I also have very little time to watch TV but do spend 2-3 hours running on the treadmill so I keep up with shows during my runs. Up to date with Arrow, The Flash, Agents of SHIELD and working on Constantine right now...

Tired of police procedurals

Other than "Game of Thrones" and "Walking Dead", I watch everything the morning after I record it. I get up early and watch my "stories" while drinking my morning coffee. I like easing into the day.

Current line-up:

Monday: Gotham
Tuesday: Agents of Shield/Agent Carter, Parks & Rec
Wednesday: American Horror Story/Americans & Blackish
Thursday: Nothing
Friday: Constantine/12 Monkeys (this just started, so I will give it a shot)
Sunday: Walking Dead/Game of Thrones and typically some other HBO show like "Togetherness" or "Veep". I will also give "Better Call Saul" a shot.

Then there are the various "Netflix" series like "House of Cards", "Orange is the New Black." I also need to watch season 2 of "Orphan Black."

I LOVE Galavant! It makes me happy.

I'm generally tired of police procedurals as well, but Elementary is quite good. I'm tired of the superhero trend, so I don't watch Agents of SHIELD, but I have found myself somehow sucked into The Flash. Constantine is quite fun as well.

My current lineup (all DVR, except most of the Sunday stuff), remember I don't have cable:

Sunday: Galavant, Downton Abbey, The Good Wife, Brooklyn Nine-Nine
Monday: Gotham, Sleepy Hollow, Jane the Virgin
Tuesday: New Girl, The Flash
Wednesday: Black-ish, Empire, Nashville
Thursday: Elementary
Friday: Constantine, Grimm, glee (though I don't know why anymore)
Saturday: Premier League Match of the Week on NBC (when on)

I'll start watching Backstrom next week.

And there is the online stuff; Netflix: House of Cards, Orange is the New Black, Arrested Development, Amazon Prime: Transparent, Mozart in the Jungle, (I'll watch the pilot of The Man in the High Castle). I'll also watch Community on Yahoo, in March, I guess.

I also purchase shows by the episode on Amazon, which these days is only Adventure Time and Mad Men.

And of course older shows - at some point I'll get to The Americans and Orphan Black on Amazon Prime.

I think HBO's new streaming service (sans cable) comes in April - so Game of Thrones, Veep, True Detective, etc. will be added to the weekly viewing list. And whenever Showtime does it's own, Penny Dreadful may join it (depends on what Showtime is showing these days for whether that service will be worth it).

edit - dammit, forgot a few shows

As HB mentioned, premiere of 12 Monkeys tonight on SyFy followed by the return of Helix (which I'm not watching) Not a big fan of shows that involve time traveling and trying to change the future by doing so, but I will give it a chance:

Also been watching Togetherness on HBO. After two episodes it's still the exact same show as Married except with a slightly different vibe. I think I liked Married better but only cause I like Jenny Slate and Judy Geer more.

Interesting to see that the DC/Marvel shows have people watching some but not the others.

Here in thread or in general? Split along DC and Marvel lines or among each company's different shows?

I haven't been able to get into Flash like I did Arrow. Though, Arrow did take time to really build.

Really intrigued by "The Slap" Coming next month to NBC. We'll see if they get the tone right, but exploration of parenting and the HOA type manufactured neighborhood could be interesting.

While I was very skeptical going in, so far "Agent Carter" has been excellent.

The finale was phenomenally done. I'm really glad the network gave the show a proper send off and they wrapped everything up nicely, if not somewhat predictably.

Kind of thought it was cheesy to bring back "Jason Gideon" just to murder him offscreen and hide him under a tarp. But Criminal Minds is what it is.

Now if they actually go ahead and make a throwback early Gideon/BAU series starring Ben Savage I would def watch the hell out of that show.

JLH is pretty much being wasted on this show, she shouldn't be a 5th or 6th banana. They've also buffered down much of her appeal by downplaying her obvious assets.

Yes.

Like, it's easier to spot here in thread, but overall, "yes." The Marvel shows seem to have people who watch both of them, but the DC shows, it seems like most people watch one or two of the three. I haven't talked to anybody yet who watches Gotham, Arrow AND Flash.

Yeah, Flash seems to have hit the ground running (er, no pun intended). Oliver Queen took longer to figure out what the hell he was doing in Arrow.

I'm still trying to catch up on the early-season episodes of Flash, which I missed.

Very good show at making social commentary while also keeping things funny. Allison Janney and Anna Faris have excellent timing with each other.
