Lol. Especially since we added a few wrinkles to try to make our offense more potent against you for the likely rematch. We will try those wrinkles against Ohio State.

I can't wait to play either one of you. I love that nervous tension that you feel when playing someone you haven't played before.

Well we traveled into Death Valley to face #22 Clemson.
They dominated me with their defense in the first half forcing 2 picks (1 pick 6) and the one drive they decided to run they ran the ball right down my throat. In the second half their QB turned into a pick machine. Was still a tight game until we took the lead with just under 6 minutes to go. From there the wheels came off for the CPU as we tried to make a statement to the voters. This team is in trouble though. All of our playmakers on O graduate and there is no one in the pipeline to take their place. My recruiting sucks as I literally have less bonus points than everyone for every prospect on my board. Just hoping for a 5-6 man class full of contributors. |

While the loss hurt, we got 2 nice commits including 5 star QB Jordan Burks who might be the best scrambler we've had since we lost our star last year...
We also added the #2 tackle in the nation. Now, it is time to hopefully destroy Ohio State... |

We lost our starting RB on the first play of the day and decided to try our new pass offense out. It was a mixed bag. We moved the ball VERY well, but we threw 4 picks. Ouch.
Our new defensive wrinkles were lights out early, but the Ohio State QB (who is a very good scrambler) managed over 100 yards on the ground and lit us up in the 2nd half a bit when I tried some more exotic looks. Still, we managed a 49-16 win and had almost 500 yards passing along with 127 yards rushing by Gilmore. so I'm happy with the new wrinkles and will just work on refining things a bit. Hopefully, the groups of recruits at the game had a great time! |

We took down Va Tech.. Who was somehow ranked 22 despite being 1-4?
Played sloppy in the first half and they moved the ball real well on us in spurts, but we were able to throw the ball whenever we wanted except for a couple mis-timed shots down field that were picked. Ended up winning 49-32, QB Lewis was 17/21 for 385 and 6 TD to go with his 2 INT. VTech's RB is a good one. He is fast and he finds running lanes. We had him bottled up on several occasions only to watch him cut back against the grain and gash us for 10-15 yards. Don't think I have seen a CPU controlled back run like that before.

Oregon gave us a real fight, thanks to a couple of fumbles and an ill-advised throw or two. Still, we managed to erase a 14-0 first quarter deficit and grab a win at Oregon. Also, as a Christmas present to EF and Macro, we broke their stud QB for the rest of the season.

Heart breaking loss to #7 Miami.
In the first half I couldnt slow them down until they got close to the endzone and quickly found myself down 16-0. Battled back to eventually take a 29-23 lead even completing a 2 pt conversion after all the FGs. Then late in the 4th with the ball driving made them expend all their TOs. Just over 2 minutes to go need 1 more 1st to kneel it out and the RB coughs up the ball. My D showed up strong and they quickly found themselves in a 4th and 26 for the game. Of course the pass was complete ato a triple covered WR and 2 plays later it was 30-29 bad guys. Had one last shot with jut under a minute to go but it came up for naught. With a horrible week recruiting wise and the way this team is shaping up really tough week. |

Sorry for the double post.
I know Ive asked this before but not sure anyone responded. Are the playing style ranks eternally 0 for team builder teams or is there any chance that will start calculating at some point into the dynasty? |

CU, I kinda look at it this way: Human teams have a ton of advantages over CPU run teams in this game. If we have a disadvantage somewhere, I'm okay with that. We're all in the top 10. If anything, I think our settings are too easy. I realize that since you came late to the OD, you're at a bit of a disadvantage versus the original owners. But still, your team is doing well on the field, and things will come around in recruiting because of that.

I'm all for the increased difficulty. Unfortunately I dam concerned about the recruiting. Its frustrating to add new prospcts as I lose others and everyone I add Im at +70 - +90 in bonus points spend 3-4 weeks working them and then watching another human (or 2 as the case last week) drop in at +380 and drop me from lead to trailing by 500 in 1 week. Thats happened 6 times this season already. IOW Im in a whiny bitchy mood Ill survive ... |

Our starting QB went down early, but our defense and running game carried the day as we beat Buffalo 31-0. Our pass defense was really on point most of the game today.
I got an error when exiting the game. Hopefully, the results uploaded correctly... Edit: The story is on the website, so I think it uploaded correctly

The thing that I like so much about ncaa 14 is that I think ratings matter more than they have in any other version. My WR's are relatively low rated (at least on this game's curve) and they have issues. But all 4 of my starting DB's are Rated very highly and I really see it in the way they cover receivers.

Just about everything went wrong against MSU, including consecutive scoop-and-scores to start the third quarter for the Spartans. Our QB bell got injured later that quarter, and our turnover-prone backup QB Castillo lived up to his reputation. Still, our defense manufactured some stops, and we were able to escape with a 35-28 victory. Bullet dodged.

We traveled to Stanford and jumped to a 31-3 lead by halftime as our QB was very efficient. In the 2nd half, we turned the ball over a few times but still managed a 52-13 win in which we threw for over 300 yards and rushed for over 200.

BTW if EF27 disappears I had nothing to do with it. #1 recruit on my board for 6 weeks. Had a 1,340 point lead last week. And he now leads by over 1,000 just because he gave the kid hookers and blow. He was a Juco so he had issues anyway...but still stung a bit. |
