XBOX 360 Controller Questions
Sorry to start a new thread but couldn't find a suitable place to drop this.
Lately one of our XBOX 360s has had a strange development. When trying to turn it on using any of the 3 controllers connected to it it takes a looooong time. Like it usually times out without turning the XBOX on. All of the 3 always connect. Sometimes it takes 3 or 4 "cycles" to connect. Once it connects there is no latency performance issues and all is well. Its no joke a 4-5 minute affair sometimes longer to just turn the xbox on. If i manually turn it on by touching the front button same deal connecting a controller. I've tried changing all remote batteries. I've tried going in and relearning each of the controllers individually. We have another X360 in the house. Ive exchanged remotes between them. All remotes work fine on the other X360, none work "right" on this one. This is an old unit that has never had issues. I guess it could be on the way out, but I cant figure out why it works fine once it connects but has trouble connecting initially. Tried searching the net and finding nothing. Hoping the FOFC think tank has some ideas or cures. |

Controller could be going bad. Not unusual.

If its a controller issue why would it work nearly immediately with the other X360 in the house?
And why would all 3 controllers start "going bad" at the same time and only on that one console? |

Yeah, sounds more like a console problem to me.
