Thumbs up Happy Back to the Future Day!

Yes, today is day that Marty and Doc jumped to in the second movie. We'll be taking the kids to see a special screening of the first movie tonight. (They're playing the whole trilogy, but we'll duck out after the first movie is done.) My daughter is a big fan, so she's pretty excited.

Amazon Prime added all three movies for free viewing for this month only (I think). We will be watching with our 8 year old this weekend.

I grew up close to the mall where they filmed the Twin/Lone Pines parking lot scenes. I remember passing by the set many times during production, though never during filming. My older brother, however did tell me that he drove by one time and did see some smoke/dry ice.

Did you guys see USA Today had a whole fake frontpage dedicated to today - the Hill Valley edition - with all kinds of fake stories based on the movie. Picked it up as I left a hotel today and thought it was hilarious.

Pretty funny Jimmy Kimmel bit. (And by the way, when did he get thin?)
