FOFC Favourite Movie - 4th Round (Part 1)

Welcome back! After a crazy April and May, things are finally settling down and it's time to conclude this tournament. My apologies for the delay. I knew I would have a busy April but some life changes made it even busier than anticipated and I was not able to get this wrapped up.

As a plus, with the extra time now, starting this round, I've made the change from 8 matchups per part to 4 matchups. This will draw the tournament out a bit and causes fewer agonizing decisions at once. As always, the complete bracket is here.

Love that this is back. Can't wait for more of the agonizing decisions this will force upon us. Crazy enough, I did not have too much trouble with this one; the only one that gave me pause was The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly versus Silence of the Lambs.

That's probably because I'm not a huge Apocalypse Now guy, though.

Goodfellas and Apocalypse now was a brutally tough choice for me. Both two of my favorites.

Sigh. Raging Bull is insanely better than Scarface.

I don't and never will understand the love for the Shawshank. It strikes me like a Hallmark prison movie, with the depth of a puddle.

I actually found all of these to be relatively easy decisions. I love Apocalypse Now but voting for Goodfellas remains a no brainer.

All about matchups, for me, against any other movie in this group it would not have gotten my vote.

To each their own. It is in my top tier of movies I have seen in my life and I find it incredibly inspirational. There are only a couple movies it may not get a vote from me over them.

My inspiration receptors are definitely questionable.

Yep. Same for me. Big Lebowski easily got my vote (it helps that it is one of my favorite movies of all time).

Big Lebowski was utterly unwatchable for me.

+1. There is no movie that has appeared in this entire draft that I would vote FOR Big Lebowski over.
