Turn fatigue off next season in the Ladder?

Hi guys. As you know, I'm always looking for ways to make the CPU teams a little more competitive in the Ladder. I frequently check the NCAA subforum at Operation Sports. The latest thing in making games closer is turning off fatigue and eliminating coaching skill trees for human owners. Obviously, the skill trees thing is out of the barn at this point, but what do you think about turning off fatigue next season? It's supposed to help CPU teams avoid their usual crash & burn in the second half due to fatigue. Also is supposed to result in more human team injuries.

Huh. I never would have guessed that turning off fatigue would cause more human injuries. That is a factor in favor of it for me.

However, the only thing that stops me (and I would guess others) from putting up even higher stats is fatigue. I think stats would get even more insane with fatigue off.

In balance, I lean towards keeping fatigue on.

I guess the theory is that cpu teams fatigue more quickly than human teams. Which is why we often rout the cpu in the second half.

Hmmm. I have not noticed that. Fatigue takes my star HB and WR out of the 4th quarter most games and has my QB gassed in the second half. I feel like I actually get hit harder than CPU with fatigue and they just run more stupid passes in the second half which make it easier to pull away. But, I will need to watch cpu fatigue more closely.

I'm ok with giving it a shot.. The elimination of coaching skill trees is one I like too, I wish it was possible to do that.

It is worth a try. Why can't you turn off coaching tree, is it hard coded at setup?

I think the only way to avoid the coaching tree is to just not use the tree when you level up. I think once you've chosen a skill upgrade, it's there to stay.

Maybe next year we reset them and leave them be?

It'll definitely make recruiting harder.

Just as an FYI, I will be adjusting the quarter length down a minute. Maybe we can rein in our crazy stats a little.
