Anyone else dazzled?
Adjusting to this new board reminds me of the first few looks at a new computer game with a wild or unique interface. There are so many things going on! Buttons, options, bells and whistles.
It's a bit overwhelming from where I'm sitting. But in a good way!

Yes, I haven't gotten much work done today trying to figure out where everything is and how it works.
One thing I just noticed that I think I'm REALLY gonna miss - when posting a reply, it doesn't look like we can search for other topics down at the bottom like on the old board. I really liked being able to go to another thread while posting a reply. It does look like there is a recap of the thread you are replying to, but no way to go to another thread. It was nice to not have to open up another browser.

I'm pretty happy with all the new options. It will probably take a while to get used to everything though.

I'm just anxious about working on a style set that will resemble the old board's colors and what not..

I like it, the same board that 400 studios uses and I like some of the options. IMO is more user friendly.

I like the functionality of this board, but the asthetics are pretty bland.

WSU, my first reaction to your question, "Anyone else dazzled?", is No. The other forums that I still (or had) visit, all ran under vB. This includes, of course, Apolyton since 1999, as well as FOBL since 2001 and a few others. I knew the dazzleness of vB and the features that it offered and everytime I click on the bookmark for the old FOFC, I felt like I was stepping back into the Stone Ages. The community was the key despite the interface, but damn, it truly was like having to go potty in an outhouse when you are used to flush toilets. But since the community is still the key, it is so much fun watching all of us (including me) play with our new toy!
