and so goes my favorite team. just because you want more of a disciplinarian doesnt mean you have to go hire coughlin right away. did they even talk to saban? id rather have had either NE coordinator.

prove me wrong, Tom! prove me wrong!

I think they'll be back in the playoffs next year.

I hadn't even heard his name mentioned for the Falcons.

Did they interview a black coach? I thought they had to interview at least 1 minority prospect? Or am i wrong about that?

thats not saying much. i can get them to the playoffs next year. add a man-child lt with the 4th pick, refocus the team with new coordinators, and let fassels pattern run its course (playoffs one year, suck the next, playoffs next year, suck the year after that).

the true challenge is in 2 years. tiki doesnt fumble, special teams doesnt blow 2 games this year, the team wouldve been fine. and the same team will be back next year.

i just dont like coughlin.

That's okay. I really don't like him, so it's good to be sure.

I think they also interviewed Lovie Smith. I don't like Coughlin, but you knew he'd get a job sooner or later. He's been the front runner from the start.

Where does the Couglin dislike come from? He did a great job with the Jags until the players started to tune him out. This happens to most coaches.

Couglin helped build a very successful expansion team and brings lacking discipline to the Gints...

he did an amazing job in jacksonville, then only started losing them after a bunch of years and horrible salary cap issues.

a great hire in my opinion, and I expect success in New York.
