About the only thing that seems different from him from the average young, white male shooter was that he seemed to actually have friends and a girlfriend. Most of the time they at best have one friend, and I can't think of any that had a girlfriend, much less a live-in relationship.

Situations like that are the worst. No one in that community is ever going to believe anything but he was lynched, and who would really trust the Mississippi police to be honest in an investigation like that? If he did commit suicide, he knew what he was doing would cause a shit-show.

The charging document seems to be what has already been out there. Only change is the mom is who actually recognized him, and got the dad to talk to him. The conversation before the shooting where he told his father that Kirk just spreads hate is in there, along with his mom saying his politics "turned left" after he started dating his trans girlfriend. The note that was destroyed is saved in a picture taken by his girlfriend. I do wonder why she is not getting charged if she was tje one to destroy the note. I guess because she has cooperated in every other way.

Should add that there is no evidence that his roommate is trans in those documents beyond the secondhand word of the Mother. It's not listed under the facts summary about him at all which is telling.

Looking at those chats and social media accounts, it doesn't seem like they were all that political. His roommate was into Jordan Peterson of all people which I guess is political but also kind of self-helpish. Feels more like the shooter was gay/bi trying to navigate in a world of Mormonism. Didn't like Kirk's extreme positions and calls for him and his partner's death.

Also, I'm sorry but I just don't buy that being a real text message exchange. We'll see when it comes to court but lol at it.

The issue was always about anti-Israel content. That seems to have been solved. The rest was just for a cut of the profits like you said. One of the few deals where both Republicans and Democrats agree on.

I would side with suicide. Hanging is still a common way of ending it. Especially if you don't own a firearm.

I agree that those text messages seems suspicious, but then that is a legal document summited to a court. It wouldn't put it pass the current DOJ to knowingly put false evidence in a legal document, but I would think a state DA would be more careful. As for the trans girlfriend, the charging document purposely says "biological male" over and over again. Why would they put it like that if not referring to someone transitioning? Even that Discord article you posted refers to the roommate as transitioning. I think it is pretty clear at this point, and I really dont get the need to continue to deny it. It is fodder to the Right either way (just bi or bi dating a trans person). That horse is out of the barn.

Zinn, 71, has also been charged with obstruction of justice for claiming he was the one who shot Kirk. While in police custody, he experienced a medical emergency and was taken to the hospital.

At the hospital, Zinn told authorities that he didn’t shoot Kirk but yelled, “I shot him, now shoot me” immediately after the shooting in an attempt to help the gunman escape, according to the Utah County Sheriff’s Office.

During that interview, FBI and Utah State Bureau of Investigation agents asked Zinn for his phone so it could be searched, and he agreed. The sheriff’s office said he told the agents he uses his phone to look at and abuse child sexual abuse material, and that there may be some images of it on there, which agents later found to be true.

The case was handed over to the Utah County Special Victims Unit and detectives said they found over 20 illicit images of children ranging from 5 to 12 years old and several “very graphic sexual text threads” in which Zinn shared the images with other people. Zinn also allegedly admitted that he gets sexual gratification from looking at and sharing the images.

He is currently being held at the Utah County Jail on those charges. The sheriff’s office said there is no evidence that Zinn actually worked with the accused shooter, Tyler Robinson.

I think I mentioned that earlier in this thread. They also pushing prayer groups and other stuff in teams and putting it on everyone's calendar. Not even at our organizational level. They're DoD level invites.

Just read a WSJ story that says the price of cocaine in the U.S. has plummeted due to increased supply. The admin is so hyper-focused on immigration that they are pulling lots of people off of drug trafficking and that's making it much easier to smuggle drugs.

I wonder if it's both. They did mention that they had a confession or whatever but it had been destroyed. But they had ways of getting it. They were incredibly vague about this.

So what if this is just the roommate transcribing what was said under pressure from the FBI? This was a guy who was very computer savvy so it seems highly unlikely he would be using unencrypted chats. So "destroyed" might have just been disappearing messages that are common in apps like Signal or WhatsApp,

That makes way more sense, especially since they didn't include much information on the exchange like timestamps.

I serviced a business today, and when I pulled up someone was blasting someone preaching. I thought it was just a workers radio up really loud and went to reception. No one was there and it took awhile to get an answer, but finally a woman came in quite annoyed. She said they were at "church " it seems every Wednesday this business shuts down and has forced church services for all their employees. I wonder how they have never been sued, but this current administration woukd side with the owners I'm sure.
