You're clearly overlooking Alabama's improvement from one game to the next. For example, they’ve already exceeded their rushing total from the SECCG

What a whiff by the punter. Bana has a chance to get right back in it.

John Mateer is such a shitty QB. He's like if Jaxson Dart was more confident and less talented.

Schools that only want to offer players an opportunity at getting an education for no money can do so. I am sure there are those who are waiting to give the schools credit for doing things the right way. On the other side, the boosters continue to insist on wanting to put money in the mercenaries' pockets to play for Ye Olde Alma Mater. When I compare how much money some boosters are investing paying college players to how much they pay many of the employees in the actual businesses, I have a pretty good idea who the boosters think have the real jobs.

This may be the first time I've ever seen a team come back from a 3 score deficit and yet never look like a competent football team.

So the narrative leading up to last night's game at Michigan is "if Alabama loses, we talk to DeBoer, if Alabama wins, we go for Dillingham." Alabama won, and now this morning Dillingham signed an extension with ASU, so we're back to knowing nothing.

DeBoer is out. Dillingham is out. It sounds like Fisch is out or at least leaning that way. Has Brohm signed his extension? I really have a hard time seeing them going with Kyle Whittingham. |

I haven’t really followed college football in years. But Tulane is in an actual relevant game on a day when I somehow have nothing to do. So here’s hoping they can keep it competitive.

It's become common now and there are even more egregious examples, but it's still weird that Beck was in the same recruiting class as guys like Bryce Young, CJ Stroud, Jalen Carter, and Bijan Robinson and he's still playing college football.

And what a time for it. 14/16 for the year, 1/4 today. I mean ... talk about not handling the moment. (or the wind, or both) Though maybe it was the rest of this season that was the mirage and today IS the real Carter Davis. He entered the season just 4/11 on field goals in three season at FAU.

Not even close. Clearly you did not endure Miami's 14-12 4OT win over Virginia 10/29/22. That was one of the most horrendous displays of alleged football ever witnessed.

The LB hits a defenseless receiver directly in the head and gives himself a concussion in the process. The rule enforcement decision always feels like it's based on a coin flip. |

Honestly, I wouldn't predict this game for any amount of money, not even a nickel. 1) Rebs have a tendency to play down to the competition at the worst possible times. (single possession wins over Kentucky, Arkansas, and Wazzu this year, debacles against Kentucky and Florida last year. 2) The external view of the team's response to the coaching situation has been positive enough ... but we ain't inside, we don't really know where their heads are. 3) Golding has been a dream when talking ... but talking to the media and being an HC instead of a DC are very different things. We ain't gonna know til we know ... and I'm not sure that we'll know even then tbh. I fear a win today and let's say a respectable loss in the quarterfinals could lead to the hiring of Matt Luke 2.0

Atleast there is NFL the rest of the night I guess but they really need to eliminate these group of 5 automatic bids. Notre Dame vs. Ole Miss would have been a watchable game. This is going to end up looking like Indiana-Illinois.

I wasn't basing it on prediction. I was basing it the first three plays. I stand by it after the next three or four Ole Miss offensive plays as well. Tulane does not belong on that field. |

Tulanes offense looks solid between the 20a bus doesn't seem to have an answer on how to get it to the end zone. The defense is clearly outmatched.

Those last couple minutes of the half are about as Ole Miss as Ole Miss gets.

This score being this close is completely on Ole Miss. They are just so much bigger, stronger faster, they should have at least two more touchdowns. The only thing that is stopping thrm is themselves. |

I was thinking more about losing RB1 and QB1 on the same drive. But yeah, the rest of the half is pretty on brand for this team.

So, does a pair of wipeouts of G5 teams today give rise to the final splintering of College Football into CFP division and Bowl Divisions? (Ie, the POwer 4 and the rest of the Group of X)
