God given writing credit by IMDB...

I find this odd. Accurate (in some peoples' mind), yes. But odd nonetheless... Good thing they did it alphabetically too.

its really rather pathetic. GOD, in whatever religion you believe, didn't write anything. he make have "spoken to" people and had them write it, but that still doesn't give him writing credit.

sheesh.

I take it you don't credit Homer for The Odyssey, either? Most evidence I've seen suggests he never actually wrote that story down...just memorized it and recited it orally to audiences. The writing down came later and by others.

Heh! I reckon you could make a sound argument that if you dictate something word for word and someone else just writes it down that you're the author, not the person physically writing, since you are providing the words, ideas, etc., etc.

I agree though, it's a bit of a stretch here (even if you believe it).

Funny nonetheless.

The fact remains the bible is written by men, for men, to enlighten, guide, and control men.

Either that, or there's a lot of author credits to be re-assigned over the years, since I believe dictating novels to typists, et al was not unheard for a number of authors (especially later in their career, after some success)

I'm sure we'll hear more from Him in the future if things go well this weekend. With a blockbuster under His belt, He could start demanding a couple million bucks for the rights to His stuff. Definitely someone to keep an eye on... Could be the John Grisham of the new century.

LOL I guess there are some pissed off apostles. They spend all that time being persecuted and can't even get a little credit for their contributions in the Bible! That's God for ya, living off the work of others.

God was an extra in Cannonball Run 2. Let's just say that there should have been a Cannonball Run 3.

His agent is still holding out for rights to the sequel. They're demanding a second universe.

His agent, obviously, is Scott Boras.

So God's using Lucifer as his agent? I like the angle! It'll make a great movie!

What I find interesting is that they're appearantly referring to the Bible as a novel. Quick look at dictionary.com provides this definition for a novel: A fictional prose narrative of considerable length, typically having a plot that is unfolded by the actions, speech, and thoughts of the characters.
