I noticed..
that a team might have an all pro RDT, but if they run the 3-4 defense he sits the bench. The former 1st pick in the draft has almost maxed out ratings, but since his team runs the 3-4 and he is a RDT, he doesnt play while an undrafted scrub NT starts. The drafting tendancies and lineup errors are really bugging me.I dont need the game any easier, then stuff like this happens and you cant do anything about it. Anyone else agree?

bump.
I think this is one exellent point that Noble_Platypus has highlighted here. Any suggestions on this thing ? I believe it deserves consideration...just my guess.

It seems to me that the latest incarnation of FOF may very well have the lowest buy rate amongst current board members of any version of the game. After playing the demo, it was pretty obvious to me that it simply wasn't something I wanted to spend money on, at least not as released. There was just too much about it I didn't like and not enough about it that I liked. And I don't think I'm alone in that assessment. That makes it pretty difficult for me to add much new on the subject but I return to FOFC because (as has been considerably discussed in the past) I think this is the best collection of text-simmers on the 'net. Simply put, this board, for better or worse, isn't really just about the FOF series anymore and hasn't been in a long time. Not ripping you, just saying that I don't think it's likely you'll see this forum ever become FOFcentric again. |

Well put. I came here awhile back after hearing a FOF4 was being released, now I've grown to like this collection of sim fans. It's great to ask a question or make a statement and read all the different answers.
I still think FOF4 questions/observations will get answered if bumped enough times, but like Jon said, alot of people were disappointed when FOF4 was released. It doesn't have that same, "euphoria" like previous versions did. Not to mention football season is on the back burner for now in the sports world. Todd |

agreed. I wrote Jim to ask him about the drafting/lineup bugs.I will update the board should I get an answer back.

I too have noticed alot of players sitting on the pine that should be starting. Jim said he tweaked this last patch, I think he needs to tweak it a little bit more.
